I had a last minute change of plans and suddenly found myself in need of a truck. I called the S. Dairy Ashford location because I had recently been there to purchase some moving supplies. I talked to Roger(?) and he led me in the right direction and I was able to get my plan back in action. He was forthcoming about the method to check in the truck after hours and everything went as smoothly as possible. THANK YOU!!

Too much to do for return, instead of employees check the vehicle, sitting at their desks and customers have to take pictures from everything and spend another 10, 20 minutes after moving and a hard day document everything.

This was my 2nd store yesterday, after the first store's office was closed and I couldn't get the key—-after my credit card was already charged. The sales person here was empathetic and quickly helped me get into one of his trucks.

Confirm the right vehicle number coincide with the vehicle being issued. Unlike I was told that there was only one 10 foot trunk left on the premises, but somehow I was assigned a 10 foot truck number that didn't match the one issued to me.

I was moving during Tropical storm Imelda, and due to the rain and flooding it took me 2 hours longer than I expected to move. The truck was on 3/4 tank of gas I returned the truck full,due to the weather I should have a the very least been given grace for the extra two hours instead of being charged another day. I asked could I keep the truck longer since you are charging me for an extra day, because I was not finished moving furniture the answer was NO!. In the future will find another truck rental company

I walked in to the store around 7:10am for a 7:00 am reservation and was told I had to wait for assistance because the clerk was still opening the store. After disclosing I made a reservation through the Uhaul app and was coming to pick up a van. I was told that I would need a major credit card to rent from Uhaul. I did not have a credit card on me so in turn had to convince my brother to pay for the rental with his credit card. This in turn required for my reservation to be updated to his name. The clerk then took my brother ID card and took picture of it with her personal phone which then bothered me. As we are trying to process payment for the rental van. The clerks system “crashes” and before the payment was complete. I then pull out my phone and used the Uhaul app to attempt to process payment through the app. After filling in information that was already provided to the clerk. I get to then end and...... I was able to use my debit card to pay for the rental. No credit card was needed. I then review my contract emailed to me and not only could I have paid with debit card but with cash. As I'm processing payment through the app with my debit card , the clerk then states “it let you pay with your debit card on the app didn't it” which implies she already knew I could have paid with debit card to begin with and now the order was processed with my brother as driver because I was under the impression a credit holder was needed to transact the request. This is not to mention the lady had a very Condescending attitude and was disrespectful and inappropriate to even go through with taking a picture of my brothers ID on her personal cell phone. All in all, I wasted 50 minutes resolving an issue that never even existed and inconvenienced everyone including my brother who was not even suppose to be driving the Uhaul or apart of my reservation due to the clerks ignorance. Not to mention the potential fraud that may happen. I have of no clue if my brothers ID is saved as an image in her phone. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. This was the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Original truck serial tm 280 n through online rental, received van instead with serial be 1393 w Ordered truck, received van Key didn't work in the truck so I tried every one in the lot Called after hours twice and no answer Returned UHaul and was told both truck and van same size after I expressed being upset Manager did not accept responsibility for mix up, but says she was at the location after hours. Only refunded dolly Had to take more trips than expected HUGE INCONVENIENCE
