No pads or dolly as requested in the reservation. Also, upon returning the truck at destination, I was required to power wash wash bugs off the truck which were existing when I picked up the truck or would have had to pay a cleaning fee. I did not know upon picking up the truck that dead bugs on the front of the box should have been cleaned off prior. Puts me in a tough situation to return a truck that was dirty in pickup... thought washing your teeth exterior was a uhaul responsibility.

First the location selected was changed on us and no representative called to notify us of this. Second, the supplies we ordered were not there. Of 24 blankets, there were only 6. Had we known this in advance we could have planned accordingly. All of this added time and additional coordination that was unexpected & very disappointing.

1.) Don't charge customers for another day's fees, when you are only a few hours returning the vehicle after you'd rented it 3 days already, and don't harass customers in returning it so promptly, when they're paying for it anyways, and we could've used it another day, and it put us behind in our moving of our possessions. 2.) Don't conceal hidden fees, like environmental fees or charging $7 per day to use the dolly, when it should be included in the rental. Enough said.

The agent didn’t have the appliance dolly I rented and very much needed. He loaned be a small and less capable dolly for the day but it was less than what I needed.

This has nothing to do with the location but in speaking with your customer service. I quoted them a price on my rental and the CSR said she'd match it and put it in the system but when I went to go pick up my truck not only did she not put it in the system she didn't put any notes making my price go up. I should've rented from Budget which is what I'll do next time. The customer service from the call center is not friendly at all. The lady threatened to cancel on the day of my pick up making my experience with Uhaul worse. I will no longer rent from Uhaul due to this interaction unless a manager calls me and rectifies the situation.

This was the second time this year I have rented a Uhaul truck and both experiences were horrible. This last time, I called the day before scheduled pick up to confirm the truck was ready at the Eldridge location (where we were told to go).. The day of the pick up I called to let them know I was on the way and was told they didn't have an available truck. I had peopled lined up to help me move and we were all standing around for over an hour until they found a truck at the Clay Road location. This threw the whole move off schedule and took way too much time to pick up a truck that I was told was available. Your company did give me a discount on rate and mileage but the overall experience was very upsetting. At this point in time I will never rent from you again, nor would I recommend you to friends and family.

They did not have my initial U-Haul at my original location so they made me drive 20miles just to get it then travel back to my house and all the way to my moving destination. They told me this the day off moving. They did not reduce price just adjusted the miles. The Uhaul was dirty and the light in the truck did not work. We re-filled the gas and it was SLIGHTLY (not even an inch) under 3/4 and they wanted to charge me extra because it was not exactly on 3/4. Also wanted to charge me extra for the truck not being swept out, when initially it was never swept. Good news overall, they gave a courtesy to let me fill (had to spend more money) the tank to exactly 3/4 and borrow a broom to sweep out truck. This experience was horrible, and I feel like they wanted extra money out of me rather than providing good service. I did not get what I paid for.



Never again will I use this company. I wouldn't care if they were the last truck rental company on the planet, I would rather carry my belongings piece by piece on my back to its destination. I rented my truck from a little mom and pop location from possibly someone who does not care about people or the needs of others. I'm a single parent, my kids are 6 and 4 and I needed to move of course. I went and got my truck after work on my way home. Well I couldn't take the truck then cause I had no one to drive my car, so I left the truck on the lot and took the keys. After picking up my truck approximately 1 1/2 hours later I kept my truck the allotted time but was late in returning the truck by a couple of hours. I was charged a whole additional day of rent to include mileage I didn't use, gas I didn't use and a dolly I didn't use. My card was charged this additional amount before I could get back to the facility to even find out what the charges were. In speaking to the person at the facility advising him that he wiped out my bank account sending it into the negative explaining that I have two children and you literally took the food out of there mouth and cost me additional money, that I wanted those charges refunded. That I was more than willing to pay a prorated amount for the additional 2 to 3 hours. But not the additional gas, mileage, and dolly rental. He did not agree to what I asked stated he would give his district manager a call, which he did twice while I was there but got no answer. I couldn't wait any longer because my kids needed to be picked up from daycare and I am charged by the minute if I'm late. He stated that he would have his district manager call me. Well after several days no one called. I then filed a dispute with my bank which to no avail was not decided in my favor was told I would have to dispute this directly with uhaul. I called them and the first person I spoke to was nice very polite explain the processes. She advised that someone would contact me in 3 to 5 business days, no one ever called. I called again, rep took my information read what was in the system again I was told 3 to 5 business days I would receive a call. She wasn't as nice. No one ever called. I called a 3rd time. Was told that someone had contacted me by phone.....I explained I had talked to no one otherwise I would not be calling back she read to me that my issue was resolved I would not be getting my additional charge refunded. Not understanding why I had been lied to, no one called and discussed anything with me. This company cannot be that hard up for money....wouldnt even consider working something out. So will never use there product again!!!!! Cheating, low life, money grubbing,liars!!!! And would encourage my friends and family not to used their cheep broken down trucks that get poor had mileage on purpose thieving company. Besides Pensky trucks are way better, cleaner. And they hold more. So rent at your own risk watch your time cause these
