I visited the location twice. First to reserve a truck and the young lady was very helpful and professional. The send time was to pick up the truck. Two young men assisted. Alfonso was in training and was very professional and helpful. He was very friendly and courteous.

Fire manager, Hanna Garcia. She allows employees to make glaring mistakes, then makes no effort to correct them. This is THE worst experience I have had with a business in the 69 years of my life. Someone should be ashamed to conduct business in this manner.

Rating this location "POOR" for one reason and one reason!! I missed placed my wallet with 4 checking account books in a large navy wallet. When I returned the 15" truck back to the 34th location it was on the middle seat and had fallen down between the seats making it slide behind the driver seat. I left and continue on to during my storage for my movers to load a 28' foot truck going to Idaho. I went to pay my movers and realized that I missed placed my navy wallet with the checks in it. I called the 34th street store twice to see if they had it and it went to reservations and they said they would have them call me and send a email to the 34th office to check my truck I had used. Well, no one ever, ever called me back even after calling them twice!!! So guess what I had to drop everything and drive over to the 34th street to see if it was in the truck and that was depending if the truck was even still there and not checked out!!! Well, lucky me It was and the wallet was there. So what I am unhappy with is that I asked them for the direct # at the 34th store and they said no we don't do it that way. We will call over there and/or email them. I spoke with the gentleman that was there when I arrive there and he looked to see if there was a email and as I watched him open his emails there was NOT!!! And not only was there not a email he said he had NO message!!! One unhappy UHAUL Customer. Sorry but you get this POOR rating because customers should be able to call directly to the store when something has been left beside and be able to be at peace when your already stress from the move!! When people are moving and it's hot, tired from moving, packing, you get it and then have to STOP to drive over to the store is B...Shit just to have a little peace. Ok, what if it wasn't there? Well you can at least start calling or looking else where! Ok, it my fault that I didn't look well enough when returning the truck? Ok, I get that, but moves are overwhelming and if you can get a little help from it that would be awesome!!! Change your policy and let the reservation people give you the direct # to each store!! One unhappy customer!

I was not called or texted about the change in pick up location. I wasted over an hour going from the original, to the new one and then passing the very same original Uhaul on my way to my final destination. It was highly frustrating.

I made a reservation online, but did not receive a call from a U-Haul two to confirm. My reservation was confirmed at the E TC jester location but when I arrived to pick up the van I was told that they no longer had uhaul seevices. I had to drive to another location and make a new reservation that day in order to get my van

The truck I wanted was not available because the renter had not returned it on time. It took about 30 extra minutes but then I was given an upgrade for the same price. Friendly staff.

The person checking me in was on a personal call the whole time. I made sure I asked what I needed to do when I came back to drop it off. According to your CS that person gave me the wrong trailer. I was charged $280.00 I have called your CS dept twice and filed a dispute online. I still dont have a refund. The first time my credit card was not recognized. I was asked to call back in an hour. The 2nd time was that the billing dept wasnt open yet. Seriously? You are a nationwide company. If I wanted a mom and pop place I would use them. Totally unacceptable! I dropped off this trailer in Houston on 34th in the exact same parking slot.

This is for the reservation personnel! I rent U-Haul truck 25 - 30 times a year and the people I talk to need to listen!!!!!! I have tried to make a reservation in Chicago and I can’t get them to listen to what I am trying to do. Thinking seriously about changing my loyalty to some one else. Pissed off!

I explain at reservation that I did not want to charge this card. At pickup I explained to the young lady upon return I may pay cash was my card being charged, her reply was it is putting a hold on the est. amount. At return I'm waiting for the total and she has charged my card . When i asked her reply was my card had already been charged at check out. That clearly isn't what I was told at pickup. I really hate doing a business transaction when you cannot trust the party in the transaction. DECEITFUL!!

This is not a complaint, more of teachable moment. The gentleman that pulled the reservation & gave me the keys started out in “robot mode”. He didn’t allow for questions or explain things well when I did ask questions. He may have been in early morning fog stil. At return he was very friendly & appreciative. He was helping some others ahead of me & told them he didn’t have any of the trucks that I was returning. I interrupted to say that I was returning that truck. Both he & the the other client were very happy, and he thanked me several times.

make sure all the doors work in all trucks bcs this is the second time I get a truck that door jam and i force to drive back across town and pay miles for that i didn't need.
