Pickup truck that I rented (for one hour) smelled like urine. A homeless person had urinated in the drivers seat. By sitting in it, it made by clothes smell like urine. The manager of the store insisted on charging me anyways. WORST experience with any business that I’ve had ever. What a FUCKING JOKE.

Would of liked the young man to be able to fix my problem in contract discrepancy or put me in contact right then with someone who could fix it. He was very polite.

While the equipment was clean and up to date, the guy said that he would put the dolly that we ordered in the trailer. We made it home to begin putting things in the trailer, and the dolly wasn't in the truck. I had to drive all the way back to U-Haul to pick it up, and the only thing that the representative said was "My bad. I forgot to put it in there." Pretty horrible customer service if you ask me. I decided to go with U-Haul because of the convenience and "service", but I think I may switch over to Budget for future moving service.

I been long time customer and the manager at 14225 northwest freeway treated me bad. Rented a truck and tried get trailer but he refused to rent it at his location. I had waste more miles to get trailer on 299 @ 34th St.

The staff, specifically the manager, was very friendly and made it very easy. So she was great! It wasn't her fault, but we had ordered two dozens blankets to wrap valuable and fragile items with. When we got there, we were told they were out of blankets. The only solution offered, was we could go to some other location to get blankets from there. We had movers come to meet us at the house, we only had the truck for 8 hours, we didn't know the location or how close other places were; so it really put us in a bind not having the blankets. A simple phone call ahead of time to warn us would have been FANTASTIC! That way we could have ahead of time gone to another location, or just made our own arrangements; but not to find out at the last minute. THEN, we ordered on-line two dolly's because we had over 100 boxes to move. Again, when we got there, we were told they were out of dollys! They weren't even sure if there was a dolly inside the truck we were getting, so they had to check. Luckily the truck had one in it, so we had one; but AGAIN, major inconvenience not to get a phone call ahead of time to let us know; so we could have made other arrangements to get a second dolly. To find out at the last minute, left us with just one dolly for ALL of those boxes. Lastly, not a major issue, but the alignment on the 20' truck was off. The steering wheel instead of being able to drive in the 10/2 position, was a 9/12 position to drive the truck straight. Again, not a major deal; but for someone like me who drives a normal car 364 days a year; I was already not super comfortable in such a big vehicle; much less for it to be out of alignment.

Poor service, did not have the moving pads needed, truck was it terrible shape, transmission shifted so hard my cargo was thrown around. The door seal actually fell out of the door when I opened the door. We’ve been using this location for years, but I think we will start using PV Rentals. Local mileage should be included, total rip-off.

No big deal but I had to buy and extra ball square insert due to incorrect Air impact equipment at this location. The staff Gabe it their best but couldn’t switch out my 2 15/16 ball to my 2” ball. I shouldn’t have the problem in the future though.

The van was dirty. The drivers side window would not go up. The ride was Extremely bumpy/jumpy. When returning the vehicle, the attendant stated that it was “probably the suspension”. I did not feel safe driving this vehicle in Houston city traffic! I feel that theGeneral Manager, Hanna Garcia, deliberately issued this unsafe van to me because I had registered a complaint earlier in the week regarding storage fees. I was required to pay a full month of rent for 11 days of storage. She refused to refund Or apply the unused rent toward the vehicle rental. Numerous attempts to reach UHaul headquarters were unsuccessful! One customer service representative gave me the name of the District Manager, but his phone goes unanswered. Also, as I loaded my van to vacate storage, an employee informed another customer that “if he vacated by the 3rd of next month, the manager said she will give him a full refund”. Seems that Ms. Garcia’s rules are not the same for all customers.

When I went to pick up my truck, the inside was filthy. So was the back of the truck. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The gas gauge was off. Truck was given to me with less than half a tank. When I told the UHAUL worker about the mess, she told me not to worry about it. There were dirty Kleenex and old drink cans in it. Completely unsatisfied with the overall work.

The truck I rented had no headlights the gas cap was missing and the brakes squilled really load. I have rented several times and never had any problems until now. The pickup person was so polite but the drop off crew didn't even try to accommodate me for all the problems I incurred he just said will take care of the issues have a nice day.
