I won’t recommend services from the movers I hired through Uhaul ~ Major Texas Movers were unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful of my belonging. At one point there was rain, and I asked the men to stop the time I was paying for, and be aware that I didn’t want my items wet from the rain. They were upset, and frustrated, and continued working in the rain, allowing many of my items to get affected by the rain. These men dropped many of my items many times, they carried too many boxes at one time, allowing many of my boxes to be squished together and have dents in them. Very disappointing. I have taken pictures of my belongings & I’ll make sure to review the company on yelp. The Uhaul service was well, a little confusing with the DIY pick up, but I figured in the moment I walked to the truck of how to check myself into the truck.

I made reservations 48hrs ahead of time. I arrived an the lady said the uhaul wasn’t there yet. So after waiting 30 minutes the manager said she had a smaller uhaul available an it was on 1/4 of gas. So the manager Hanna told me she was gonna give me credit for 10.00. I still end up putting gas in the uhaul an she didn’t give me credit. I was there all day long. Horrible experience an not professional at all..

The truck was leaking in the Attic section damage a few of my items. I have shot video and pictures if y'all need to take a look. The location did not check the truck before they're released it to a customer. I tried calling the location and customer service this morning but nobody would pick up the phone. If you'll need to get ahold of me I can be located at 713-857-7399. Also I was set up to pick up rent at office U-Haul location but when I got there the person told me that I had to do it with my phone so I had to call customer service and they had to get that person on the phone to switch it. I rent a lot from U-Haul and had problems in the past with dead batteries and trucks not Park in the right spot so I prefer renting at the U-Haul office. Instead of doing it with the app

Try to charge me $438.00 for a 95 mile trip. Apparently no one double checks the info before charging someone’s credit card.

The process was made inconvenient by the customer service rep at the call enter. I called at an inopportune time and was answered by the call ctr which created a payment problem and drop off problem for me. I verified the process with agent when I returned and found it to be just as I had been told on the 800 line a few days earlier. Otherwise all was good.

I made my reservation days in advance, and when I arrived I was informed that the store had no blankets. So, what’s the point of reserving early if you don’t have the inventory to fill the order?
