You lied and sent us 35 miles to pick up a truck because the location 9 miles away had no 26ft truck and u tried pawning off a 20ft and a trailer. Tnt said there was no reason i could not p/u there. Uhaul probably needed a trailer moved. Road to huntigton closed for weather so took xtra 20 miles

John came out and loaded my car on to the dolly and supposedly safely secured my vehicle. We left and drove about 30 miles and everything seemed alright until my daughter, riding in another car saw that the webbing around my front wheel was completely off....we had just come off the interstate for a brief stop....I do not want to imagine what "could have" happened. So I get out in the pouring rain and re-strap the car and get back in the truck like I had just gotten out a pool with my clothes on and have 5+ hours to drive... We go down the road another 30 minutes and need an emergency bathroom break and stop again.... I check my tires and the original issue was tightened another crank or two and I walk around to the other side and the other side is completely off and hanging down behind it. At this point, my wife is a wreck and just wants to give up...we were 3 days into the moving process and had deadlines to meet for registering our children for school. I went in and searched for local UHaul locations and found the closest one about 20 miles away in the direction I had I am losing time and distance to go back...they swapped out my dolly with another one after I waited another half hour and I gave them a $40 tip for helping me out of what someone else had done. Now that we were 2.5 - 3 hours behind, wife tells me we will never make it to Nashville as she cannot drive at night and asked that I cancel reservations there and find something closer... They charged me for the 3 rooms for not cancelling with a 24 hour notice. I was travelling with a dog and two cats so I had to find pet friendly rooms as well.... So we make it 2 hours south out of a planned 6 hour drive. So the next day we have 9 hours of driving instead of 5 thanks to the dolly fiasco. So we finally make it to GA and pull into the hotel and into the back to park. There was not enough room to turn around....I thought then that I could take off the SUV, remove the dolly and then turn around with just the truck. So I start to unfasten the chains under the car and cannot seem to pull one free, it was somehow wedged itself and would not release. So I again call a local UHaul location in Gainesville, GA to make a house call and help me out. 4 hours later he came with tools and a crowbar and freed my vehicle...another $40 tip and I had my car and truck ready to go again.... I have never had issues with previous rentals and certainly not anything of this magnitude, but I had a stressed out, worn out family and hours lost of work, $$ lost to tips and hotel cancellations. Not sure at this point if I will ever darken the doorstep of a UHaul location again. I would expect a refund for some if not all of the rental price due to the serious errors made and time and money lost on my part.

I returned the truck clean and 3/4 of a tank of gas and unde mileage , I was disappointed to be overcharged on my account by $14.85 on top of &267.00 dollar fee.will not use uhaul again

While we were taken care of, and everything in the move went well, John was the only one there that handled the U=haul part of the business. It might help in the future to have someone else trained in this part of the business, in case john is out somewhere.
