Better customer care and knowledge was charged on 2 credit cards for the same purchase. Called customer service multiple times to have the credit card switched. Now funds needed for my children basic living expenses cannot be met thanks to the incompetent staff at the uhaul place on 4400 university drive in Huntsville, AL. Thank you

It would be nice if I could have gotten the vehicle at the location I chose. This experience was horrible. I called in advance of my pick up time to ensure that the after hours pick up was possible at this location and they assured me that it was. The app and website via email did not tell me where the keys where upon arrival. I called customer service and they transferred me to literally a random stranger who knew nothing about uhaul. Finally I called another uhaul location on University and they said they would have a truck ready for me. I do not think that renting a truck for 1 hour was worth the tremendous hassle. I've dropped off at this location before and it was fine, but I will never use this location again if I use uhaul ever again. I had to pay another Uber driver to pick me up and take me to the other location. I feel that a discount on our transaction is warranted to offset that cost.



Windshield bug stains. Military dis ounts should be provided on Truck and Storage rental. We've served and serving. Defending our country!! Uhaul does not help as much as we provide business to the company!

Be sure to give back the credit that's remaining on your client's card after return. Yesterday I was charged $54.13 before I drove the truck (which I was told that I wouldn't be charged until after I return) . After I returned the 10 ft truck, the representative tried to charge an additional $10.00 for driving a total of 26 miles when we agreed from the beginning that I'd need 40 miles and it was his suggestion ! After reminding him, he then said the total charge was $42.50, so I asked how soon will that take affect to my acct because as of now it's showing $54.13 (still to this day) he said that it "should" take place immediately after he adjust the price. I also have a receipt of the $42.50 but it seems to be no purpose because my acct have noticed any adjustments. I've waited to the next day and still no asjustment of $12 to my acct. I had doubts earlier but decided to follow through because I trusted that you all would treat me right as a customer and is disappointed to know that you all didn't follow through on your promise !!



Putman Drive location did not exist so I had to drop it off at another location. The location I dropped it off at was very nice.

My first two attempts at getting a Uhaul truck were horrible. The first truck (scheduled for a self-pickup) was covered in cigarettes and trash and the tires were low. The second attempt, we went to Uhaul on Governors and were told the system was down. The system being down was not the problem however; it was the customer service person who couldn't have cared less and was not helpful at all. Finally we arrived at Uhaul on Putman and had great help and very friendly customer service. If we ever rent from Uhaul again, we will certainly be returning to Putman.

The van was really clean, and was well maintained. However at .59 cents a mile plus gas it was 99$. A lot further from that 19.95 thats advertised, so it was a nice van, but I was sticker shocked. Also wish that dropoff was cheaper, but apparently drop off fees are outrageous. Either they get u by the mile or get u with the fees. But I will say it was very nice equipment, the van was super clean. And easy to use.

The online options saved the day for me when my trailer broke after hours and needed it early the next morning. Only suggestion - the location where the trailer was available was open earlier than the original time that was given online. Wish I had known that. I could have been there at 7:30 am instead of 9:30.

Do not charge the card used to reserve the item without verifying with the renter. I had used a credit card to reserve but wanted to use a debit card to pay upon drop-off. The workers automatically charged my credit card when they checked in the equipment in order to "minimize my wait" but this was not the payment method I wanted to use.

I got to my load location and there was blood all over the walls in the back of the uhaul and it kept cutting off when I got back to the drop off location they told me they would not check it in till I cleaned it I told them it wasn't my blood or anyone I know and I wasn't cleaning it it took some arguing with them and finally she went out and looked in it and said there is no way that's fresh that's been there a while I tried to tell her that then she stated it may be one of the homeless people's blood that apparently sleep in there trucks sometimes now mind u this truck had a locked attached to the door so why was it left unlocked and why they not check for stuff like that

Too many chiefs not enough Indians for everybody to have the title manager but cannot do nothing I felt like I was thrown underneath the bus and also dragged by that trailer that was already messed up it cost me lots of money back and forth long wait time on phone and I still unsuccessful of getting my money back

Willow is an excellent employee. She zipped through all the paperwork and worked to provide me with the best value. She clearly explained how I should return the vehicle after closing and personally showed me where to return the keys. She was very upbeat and energetic. She made me forget the frustration of waiting in line for a very long time. Also, U-Haul is to be commended for adding the feature of a chained padlock. This was very convenient. Thank you.

Very busy location. Because Tropical Storm Cindy had just passed through Huntsville, this location was backed up. Yet the staff was fast and efficent. The trailer was inspected and I was signed out in less than 30 minutes ! This location is on a corner and SO much more maneuverable than the U-Haul a couple of blocks away.

The guarantee states your equipment will right and it will be at the right place at the right time, or you receive $50. This did NOT happen. We reserved a van for pick up at the Governor's Drive, Huntsville, AL location. We received a telephone call the morning of the pickup confirming we still needed the van. We confirmed. When we went to pick it up, we were informed the van we reserved was at a different location, across town on University Drive, Huntsville, AL. The manager at Governor's Drive said he could not honor the guarantee that we would have to address it with the manager on University Drive. So we had to drive across town to pick up the van and the manager there said he would not honor the guarantee because we had not reserved the van with his location and "locations are never guaranteed," quite contrary to the Guarantee Sign in both locations. I called the 800 Go Uhaul number and registered my complaint and never heard back from them. When we returned the van, we were charged the full amount, no $50 credit resulting in not meeting the company guarantee. We were told we would receive a call from corporate office within two days. We are still awaiting a response from Corporation. Order reservation confirmation number is: 86437849
