You have to put nice people in front to deal with customers, I find this agent danette Harper was rude and disrespectful. First of all she was disrespectful because she asked me to give her two contacts person and she called this people , how embarrassing only rent a uhaul all my friends has to know.



This comment is for the laurel location on washington blvd, I was called 10 min prior to my pickup time saying they messed up scheduling and I had to drive to another location to get the truck size i needed. This pushed my moving helpers back, and caused us to start our move almost 3 hrs later. Huge inconvenience and still not sure why I was called minutes before pickup while we were heading there when I reserved 2 weeks out. Not done well on uhauls part. The hyattsville location was very helpful though.

Horrible experience returning vehicle. Employees just stood around and didnt even bother to assist the waiting customers. Was explained after waiting 15 mins that the employees were told not to help the customers and send them to the website to checkout or pay $5.00 additional. Signs state to stay with the truck. How confusing and just absurd. Will not be using this location ever again. I would rather drive 50 miles into virginia and deal with crazy traffic then go back to uhaul at this location.

:-( When they brought the truck they had no way to scrape the ice off the windshield. Interior windshield was filthy :-) The rest of my experience was great. Nice customer service. Truck was fine and available to me. Inside of the back was clean.

I dropped off my vehicle the morning of 19DEC17 and dropped the keys in the designated key drop at 14523 Telegraph Rd Woodbridge, VA as per my contract because I live close to this location and know it well. 10 days later, the vehicle was returned in Hyattsville, MD, 39 miles from my home in Woodbridge, with an additional charge to my credit card of $874.51. This is fraud that originated at the Uhaul store in Woodbridge. I will contact an attorney and suit Uhaul for fraudulent business practices and will never do business with Uhaul again. I will warn everyone I can not to use Uhaul.

It would be great if uhaul would advertise their drop off app. I didn't even know it was a thing until the people at this store told me about it. Also this location needs better signage -- I went in to the main building and missed their drop off section completely. They were very nice and friendly and showed me where to go - but just a thought :)

Not sure why, I was trying to rent from the Uhaul place down the street from my house. I had to update the location on the website twice, but it kept reverting to this location. NOT the most convenient and NOT what I thought I was booking. Also, they're pushing hard to download their app to do your own check in upon return. My phone battery was dead from using GPS to move all day, and I couldn't do that. They REALLY don't want to manually check you back in. I pulled in to the designated return bay, and no one was there. So I went inside, where the woman informed me not one but TWO guys were out there. I figured I might have missed them somehow, so I went back out. No one. Go back inside, where the woman says she'll show me. I go to follow her outside, and she says I have to go the other way .... OKAY not sure how she'll be showing me then, but I go. Like 5 min later, after she's clearly spent time rustling someone up to check me, that guy meets me outside for check out. Why did she bother lying to me the first time? The whole check in process took maybe 1/3 of the time just to find someone to check back into. I should have just tossed the keys on the counter and left.

I have used this location for years and would have rated them Excellent. However, when the associate offered me insurance for $14.00 I accepted it. The problem is the Associate informed me that the cost included "ANY DAMAGE" to truck. Unfortunately, I live in Washington, DC and know that the roads are bad and hit a pot hole which damage the tire. Upon returning the truck, I inform the Associate and they said since I did not have the $28.00 coverage I might have to pay for the tire. I informed the Associate that under no circumstance did the Associate processing my request inform me about a $28.00 insurance cost that would have covered the entire truck. Trust me if that information would have been told to me I would have accepted the $28.00. Now my contract is on hold under the Manager Mr. Henry return and review this information. I should not have to pay for the damage of the tire since I was told the $14.00 insurance cover damage to the truck. Trust me if the $28.00 insurance policy was told to me, I would have taken it to make sure the truck was covered. Another $14.00 would not have hurt me pockets. I want someone from the Corporate Office to contact me. Thank You!
