When we picked up the truck, the gentlemen who helped us were great. Friendly, welcoming. When we dropped off the truck, the man who helped us was rude, and appeared to be running behind, or struggling to keep up with his workload.

I made a reservation at noland road and i70 the man at the front counter and an employee from the back tried to threaten my friend and I and refused to honor our reservation. They threw the paper with our reservation at us and "suggested" we leave while the bigger guy walked towards us to attempt intimidating us. Extremely unprofessional.

The check in process was a little hard.

The people who work at the Noland road location are rude. After we filled the truck over the amount that was origially in there, the maintenance guy who does the check in yelled at us about how the fuel was low. We told him it wasn’t but if he would feel better we would just pay to add another gallon at the gas station even though it was clearly over (his paperwork was wrong). He then screamed about how it was just a waste of time. Never ever will I rent from the Noland road location. Last time they were rude and this time they were incomprehensible.

I recommend people over 70 probably shouldn't drive a truck. 16 years ago I had no trouble climbing up and down, but now I could hardly haul myself up and into the seat. The step down was far too. Of course, I'm older and shorter now, but I wish I'd had someone else drive it.

Warn customers about the ribbed liner in the cargo van. If I had known how hard it is to clean, I would have used a plastic drop covering.

Teach your management how to address concerns instead of giving excuses about your employees rude behavior. Train more intelligent, personable people to represent you instead of offering the gig to the first pot head marble mouth in a pair of Dickies Learn what the customer has a complaint about and fix it. Don't just sit there explaining how the complaint system is what made you have to answer my call Lower your egos and talk to customers like the bread and butter they are instead of screening your calls, passing the buck to under educated buffoons and call center farm hands who can't address a letter! Wake up on your arrogant lazy customer despising asses and lose the Holier than Though Monopoly on the industry attitude. You weren't created, WE BUILT YOU and we can just as easily destroy you. Stop deferring your answers to the next idiot. I've called this branch on one rental contract five times and was transferred, put on an obscene length of hold time or flat out unattended to on all five occassions. You will never see my business again.

I rented a 15' truck from Independence, No. and returned it to Jefferson City, Mo, early. I asked if I would get a refund if I turned it in early. I was informed my bill would be adjusted. I was informed today, this is not the case. So, U Haul gets to keep a lot of my money because we lucky due to the weather and helpers that were unexpected. When we returned it, the place was very interesting! I wouldn't let my daughter go In there alone. In today's economy, people use U Haul because of your prices. I won't be using you again.
