The pickup location claimed to be open from 9am-Noon on Saturdays. Nowhere at the site, on my reservation, or on their phone lines, did they indicate otherwise. My rental did not include the furniture dolly that I reserved and paid for. I called the location 20+ times throughout the 3 hours they were supposed to be open and got no answer. I also reached out to Uhaul support and that took a while to get a human on the line. I was told a manager would call me after they heard my frustration. When the manager called today, I was offered a refund of the $7 I paid to rent the dolly. That is unacceptable as it cost more than $7 in moving expenses and added time with the movers to get all my moving done. I was also told that the location I rented from was closed on Saturday. That would have been nice to know. I am moving again in 3 months and will not be using Uhaul. If the issue was just a forgotten dolly, then it would not have been a concern. The issue was that I had no support when the dolly was found to be missing from my truck.

The guy gave me the key to the truck and pointed to the parking lot. I had to find the truck, find the car dolly and hook it up myself. I had to pull up to the office and retrieve the 12 blankets I rented and put them in the truck. Customer service was nil.

The people at this location did Not have the proper equipment to hook the trailer dolly to my vehicle. They didn't have the adaptor plug or the Wiring Pig Tail need to use this item. Beside the lengthy wait time for a clerk, I had to make two trips to the Auto Parts store to obtain these items. Also the clerk told me if I returned the Dolly before 24 hours, which I did, I would only be charged $44.00 plus tax instead of $88.00 plus tax which is what I ended up paying. Not Happy!

Took 35 minutes to get the truck. I already had everything setup online so I don't have to waste time at the location, but they had to redo the quote twice. I run out of time to do everything I needed that night, and my friends, who were helping, had to wait long for me to arrive home with the truck to unload.

Original truck was not there based off the contract information. 2nd truck's mileage and fuel was not accurate based off the contract which resulted in being charged for an additional 40 miles that I did not put on the truck. Fairly frustrating process to get a U-Haul truck when I was under a time frame to get moved from one point to another point. I am not sure if this falls back on the facility or U-Haul or both but was pretty disappointed in this experience.

Do not change my pickup location 5 minutes before I am scheduled to pickup. Then move my location 20 miles away and expect me to pay that difference.

Truck back was clean but cab smelt like a ash tray and butts were in the cup holder and under the seats

The mileage on the truck was w 40 miles more than what uhaul said also uhaul said it had 3/4 tank of gas when in fact it had 1/2 tank.i took pictures and showed it to the person a uhaul. He said it would be adjusted when I returned the truck. It has been 26 days and no adjustment. I talked to the person all he can do is give me lip service. Blows me off every time. Will not recommend doing business with these people.

Don't give customer a hard time when gas level doesn't match on paperwork and vehicle. Also have every thing that was reserved, isn't that the point of your process to assign a location.

Was charged $14 for Safe Move AFTER I DECLINED INSURANCE; truck had tons of dog hair, peanuts, spilt soda and cigarettes and ash in it including the cab. I am a non smoker and found it disgusting. The adding of safe move when I said NO is theft!!!! It will be reported to district management and I demand repayment immediately before involve police and news station.

Person inside did not ask before charging my card and included insurance which I never asked for. Uhaul is supposed to be refunding that. Did not even help hook up trailer, that's a little difficulty by your self. Their very heavy. There was no one even in the store and it took him 5 min to come to the counter. Personality of a stump. Will not recommend.

This was by far one of the worst customer experiences, if not the worst, I have ever experienced. Apparently Brian Moore had no interest in a customer coming to his location and renting U-Haul equipment from him that day. He was rude & put-out during the entire process. When he printed the contract and it didn't match the price I was quoted, I called back to scheduling to get clarification (this literally almost sent him through the roof). Robin and Amy were great to work with in scheduling, but Brian was not. Once things were straightened out - he literally told me to find the truck that matched the number on the key chain he had handed me & told me the transport trailer number was highlighted in the contract - I could find it in the lot as well. Needless to say - I don't drive 15' foot trucks often and the prospect of backing it up to attach a car-transport trailer to it by myself was less than ideal! Based on this experience I doubt I will use U-Haul again! Hopefully Brian realizes that in this business he does have to deal with customers to be successful(or potentially U-Haul will be more selective in choosing their dealers).

We were switched locations and not informed. Not a huge deal but we were in a crunch and love using Uhaul because of ease and professionalism every time. The switch was from Indian Trail to Charlotte we were told we would be getting $50 off if we were switched locations but that hasn't happened even though we mentioned it to the Uhaul provider. This locations staff member on 7/7 was super rude. I'm not looking for a new best friend but some manners were definitely lacking. I returned the truck at 6:30 PM the that night cleaned out and gassed up and they lost the keybox somehow between then and this morning. And even had the audacity to called and threaten me to return the truck or else... When I gave him the vehicle code the Uhaul manager at this location on 7/8 found it in the lot. I don't know how this happened and am not going to post online about my terrible experience at 1 location but would like the $50 to be refunded per the initial agreement.
