To begin with the whole experience was the worst i have ever had. When i walked in there was complete mess many angry customers and no customer service. My u haul was not there. The gentleman behind the counter threatened my husband stating that he wanted to fight my husband in front of my 5 year old daughter she was scared. The u haul was nasty old gaterade bottles were in the uhaul. The sign was still in the window. I was there for 1 hour trying to rent a uhaul. I asked that the manager call me and they will not answer when i call they keep telling me they will call me back. i want a call back i need answers as to why this young man still has a job after he spoke with us the way he did. My overall experience with U-Haul was anything but good. I don;t like the face that when you call a Location that you think is close to you location and you get a call center that tells you that they are at that location and you tell the agent that you are sending someone in 20 minutes and they say the unit is in stock at that location and when you arrive NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING??? they cannot look up where the order was placed and the trailer you need is 2 miles away but I was not told that ??? I made 5 phone calls to talk to a MANAGER at the location but kept getting the call center and the call center cannot connect you with the locations ??? Bottom line I would use a different rental company if they had trailers because of the really bad customer service that you all have. In my opinion with today's technology the call center should be able to forward the calls through to the location you would like to go to. Apparently our company has had many bad experiences with the Kitley location. Then we were charged for an additional day to top it off.

It was quite inconvenient to need to change locations to get the correct truck size. Although we were offered a larger truck for the price of the one we needed, we were going cross country and we didn't want to drive a larger one. We also paid for movers through UHaul (Apex Moving LLC) and I'm honestly not sure how they are recommended. I wasn't able to get a hold of them for 3-4 days, leaving voicemails without call backs. I sent an email and got a pretty quick response, however when trying to confirm time and date of moving needs, I NEVER received another email.

Ur help, they was acting to the fact I needed a favor, and when I asked a ? It was like I don't care take it or go away. I have a small business and I asked if they could put my business name on the invoice and ur manager that had the sign of Lawrence store said no we can't do that! And again when I return the trailer ur assistant said do I have to r can u unhook it ur self.this was the 2nd time with this guy in two weeks. I'm not trying to make no one lose their job but our customer service has to be to the upmost to keep our customers as well as me as a small business owner I just felt overwhelmed and it was not too a status for of a customer. There was an equipment malfunction. The service rep promptly gave a full refund and a sincere apology for the inconvenience. Sometimes these things happen. Seeing a service rep respond gracefully under bad circumstances is a big deal.
