Jon S | Overall ExperienceShadeland Ave. Uhaul has to be the worst place to do any business. I was treated like I didn't matter my property didn't matter. I will never do business again with them. The employee's were rude short and treated me with disregard. I started renting in November and left 5/19/2024. Let me give advice never lock up a good paying customer's things without letting them know. I swept out the smelly unit and have pictures to prove that. I emailed Uhaul Shadeland. And I will never send anyone their way ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I now have to file a claim in hopes that the problem is resolved and my damaged items replaced while I’m in the process of trying to move which is already stressful in itself.

However, they were very nice and called me to check to see if I still needed the until even though I I was making payments and not moved in yet. The staff there are wonderful and I would recommend renting a storage unit from UHaul anytime.

There were several times when changes needed to be made to my account and the person I spoke with didn’t relay that information to the people that needed to have it. Overall a good experience it’s just sad that it took them almost 3 months to realize that i had already closed my account and moved out of my unit.

tamyra s | Overall ExperienceThey changed the lock out tag out when late payments rules so many different times. First it was , when you become 3 weeks late they will lock you out then put a lien fee. Then it turned into once you are more than 2 days late you get your lock covered.

CARLOTTA D | First ImpressionsAs I was emptying my unit, I saw dead roaches on the cart and in my unit as well as mouse droppings. As a result, I disposed of the mattress and box frame because it's cheaper to purchase new ones than to fumigate my home. I took photos if you would like to see them. Interesting enough during my last trip the unit was cleaned.
