The passenger door barely shut. I returned the truck with 1/4 of a tank. It was 2 miles under the 1/4 of a tank mileage and they charged me $30 extra to fill the tank! Terrible! I had rented the truck for 7 days! No reason to not excuse the 2 miles. Very, very disappointed. I rent a truck from you once per year for this same event. Extremely poor customer service.

I was over charged for fuel. I rented a 17 ft truck, went a total of 7.7 miles and was charged for 3 gallons of fuel. I understand one gallon, but not three. I emailed the location but have not heard back. I expect the charge to be reduced.

Entering the store was like walking into a classroom when the teacher has left. There was zero customer service. Typically there is a review of the condition of the vehicle and noting the fuel level. Instead the girl told me to hit the panic button to locate the truck in the lot. I removed the promo windshield cover and found a place for it inside the cab. The fuel level was not a FULL, so i photographed it just in case. and Yep, they charged me for a refuel charge even though I had added fuel. This is all AFTER the sales girl walks past me then says she didn't see me standing there waiting for my reservation. Pitiful

I was very pleased with how the process of pickup and return worked. Adjustments needed to be made to the contract and were done correctly. My suggestion would be that the customer service representatives should greet their customers with a smile, be personally engaging, and not seem like they've been there for 12 hrs. at 9 AM. The whole staff seemed lethargic, and/or upset about something unrelated to me, but related to other customers. I did not receive poor service, just not what I would call friendly service.

The truck I rented was very old and well used but it was probably well maintained. It was difficult to drive and really needed cruise control. 65 mph was the fastest i could go and feel safe. Also The back door was difficult to shut.

Truck was rough but clean inside. Was given truck with just over an eighth of a tank of gas...had to fuel up immediately and was late to where I was picking up items. Person in front of me was told they did not have to return by same time next day but were told they could hae it until close. I then asked if I was ok if I might be late and was asked how long and that I needed to have it back. Second time in a row at this location I was not treated well, will go to another from now on.

Long wait to check out truck. Only one person working the desk. Although this was at the time the store opened it would have been better if there had been a second person working the front counter.

If equipment is unavailable and your pickup time is after closing, the person on call should answer the phone or better yet call the customer to inform them that equipment is missing, which may delay pickup. Afer not answering the phone for our pickup, when asked about our pickup Jonathon said "he was asleep." He gave no other explaination and was very nonchalant about my missed pickup. I traveled 22 miles including driving home and did not receive my uhaul due to an unprofessional manager. My only option was to use the service twice. I booked for Michigan road trying to avoid the Castleton location only to be sent back after driving 14.8 miles to the Michigan Road location. I am very displeased with the lack of professionalism, the mishandling of my reservations on both occasions and the stress added while trying to move. No thank you uhaul in Caslteton and shame on you for your poor customer service.

The General Manager (printed on shirt) was teasing an employee about his weight by calling him butterball. This may be cute to him and acceptable to them in the workplace. Teasing a person about there size is unacceptable in front of customers. Also it take away from the individuals self esteem.

Bit put out that I reserved the van on the website for Carmel Welding but when I arrived was told the reservation had been moved to Castleton location. I've rented multiple times from Carmel Welding but this time someone dropped the ball.

The amount charged was not accurate. The bill includes 20$ for pads. There were no pads used during move. The bill shows 47$ for fuel and o the truck was brought back above what was originally in there. On top of that the total journey was 37 miles. It’s quit impossible to rack up 47$ in full charges even if I didn’t put any full in. At 4$ a gallon that would mean the truck averaged right around 3 mpg?

Well we had to pick up a truck 20 minutes away from Our first pick up spot. Then they forgot to put the 12 moving pads in the truck so I had to drive another half an hour there and back to get the pads. It wasn’t an ideal situation and I was hoping they can credit my charge account for something for our inconvenience thank you have a great day

Keep your word. We were given a number to call to see if our charitable organization qualified for a free rental or reduced rate and we called 3 times & were promised a call back from Anthony Jones but it never came. No is an answer not returning a call as indicated is poor business.

Truck had high mileage and screws to hold center console were broken. Center console kept falling out where I had to hold them while I was driving. Then I originally schedule this at carmel location and representative called night before Sunday and informed me requested truck was not available at Carmel location but it will be available at castleton location and if I agreed then she could book me and for trouble she would throw in $15 discount for my rental. After rental there was no discount and I called resolution center and she promised to put back $15 on my card. I do not see any credit on my credit card and I got runaround. I will not use u-haul service any more and I will seek some other competitors.

The staff was some of the most unprofessional staff I have ever met. When i walked in the lady did not even acknowledge me. Finally she said "i'll be right with you" she was then eating a sandwich was she was talking to me. She went to get two men to finish the transaction. they were cussing, had an attitude like they didn't want to be bothered by me or work. They talked about my reservation amongst themselves saying "she just made it today" and worrying about another customer like they may not let me rent the uhaul. the man was also rude when I didn't understand why he wanted my driver's licenses instead of the person who was actually going to be driving it.
