I clearly stated that I did not want the moving insurance yet I was billed the $14 for it.When I called to complain,the woman at u haul said I initialed it on my contract.Definitely a scam.They handed me a small print document to initial about the mileage and yes I did initial that paper but apparently there was something on that paper about the $14 fee.I trusted the worker and this is the thanks I got.Be careful! We had the truck for 3 hours to donate a couch to a deserving family and it cost close to $100......very upset

Have more van's available. This way I didn't have to drive back to far rockaway & take the train back home (brooklyn) . Other then that it was great customer service .

I didn't know how to close the back. I thought it was closed. I was driving and heard something and decided to pull over. I also rented a dolly. I'm so blessed that it didn't roll out.

I will never rent from uhaul again. The customer service and reservation process was complete chaos and I am completely disappointed. The call center person I spoke to was disrespectful and had a disgusting attitude.

I was charged an extra day and the vehicle was returned before 24hrs. I was told by customer service that I would be issued a refund, but the manager refused to issue the refund even after I spoke with her. I looked online at reviews for this location and it's a common occurrence to be overcharged at this facility. I would strongly recommend using another location, if at all.

I left a few items worth thousands of dollars in the back when I dropped off truck. I realized this and came back to the seaford location within 5 minutes and the truck was already given to someone else. Whoever took truck wouldn't meet me to give me my stuff back. So they get to keep my stuff? How come uhaul won't help me? What recourse do I have? Please call me at 646-478-0626. Otherwise, I will retain legal counsel and sue uhaul. Regards, Frank

Upon arriving there wasn't anyone available at the front desk. I waited over 10 minutes before the agent walked in to assist me. He was helpful with informing me of my options and explaining the cost breakdown. He clearly went over the items on the contract before I signed. Biggest issue aside from the long initial wait was he forgot to give me back my driver's license and I was halfway home before receiving a phone call about it. I tried to call back but received an automated message with no option to reach the front desk. Even if I wanted to go back, by that time the store was closing.

they did not have the trailer I wanted even though the computer had it in stock, I ended up with a smaller one requiring me to make 2 trips versus the one that was planned... Desmond was very nice and helpful, it was a great experience

Yes the truck was clean but the brake was not up to standard brake pedal was pulsating when pressing the brake pedal the truck needs front rotors. I know this for working on trucks in a mechanic when I return the truck I told the salesman my experience.

We made our reservation a month in advance and had choosen a place that was a mile from our house. When we got your confirmation the day before, all of a sudden our pick up changed to a place an hour away from us. We had no choice at this point to accept this. On the pick up we were told that we had to drop off at a place that was further away from where we wanted to drop off. On the way to our destination I called uhaul to see if we could change the drop off location since the one that we were told to drop off was another hour away from where we were going and once again we were being inconveinenced since there was one a half hour away. When I called uhaul and got customer service and spoke with a representative named Craig - I was appalled at the treatment and "respect" he gave me over the phone. He tried to hurry me off the ohine when he heard me complaining and then actually hung up on me after telling me there was availability at the location we wanted. He did not make any effort to help actually change the location for us. I actually had to call back and ask for a manager to have the location changed. This is a disgusting way to do business. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to use uhaul because there aren't any other equipment rental companies available. It is my belief now that I have had this experience that uhaul is aware of their monopoly and therefore does not care about their customer service. I encourage you to listen to this call and educate your teprestative on customer service skills or maybe this Craig is in the wrong position. I made the call on Saturday July 9th around 1 pm. If I had a chOice to never use uhaul again, I would.
