There's not much you can do to change the building and parking that is way too small to accommodate the customers. The owners/staff were polite and fast getting everyone processed as soon as possible.

When we arrived, Barbara -- the wife in the management team -- said they were too full and we had to return the trailer to a location two miles south. We respectfully challenged her -- it wasn't our duty to do that; we had to get to an afternoon doctor's appointment in Atlanta and couldn't afford the delay; it wouldn't have been an issue if we'd received advance notice, etc. -- she agreed we could drop it off at her location. Then she said we had to detach the trailer by ourselves because there were only two staffers available -- she and her husband, Edward. And Barbara said she wasn't strong enough and he was in his late 60s. We are both 63. My driver just had surgery and temporarily couldn't lift heavy items. Being short, and having never detached a trailer this size by myself, I wasn't going to do it, partly out of potential damage to myself, the truck and/or the trailer. And, of course, detaching the trailer was not our responsibility in the first place. So Barbara went to get a trailer dolly. By the time she returned, about 5-10 minutes later, Edward arrived. We then had the same discussion with him that we'd had with Barbara -- none of us raising our voices or getting angry, but all of us extremely frustrated because of our respective situations. Like Barbara, he eventually agreed we could drop it off there and detached the trailer by himself within a minute or two. I'd asked if they were going to inspect the trailer (which I'd swept out), but they declined. Barbara gave me our receipt, which showed we returned the trailer in good shape and no further charge, and we left.

The adapter in the truck wasn't working. Traveling across state with no way to charge my phone was nerve wrecking. Customer service was great though. I was able to drive the truck around the lot before driving on the street and the gentleman helping adjusted the mirrors for me.

General manager was absolutely miserable to deal with. I scheduled my appointment a week in advance for 11:30am. Went to the location to find a sign on the door "back at 12:45." I called the number listed on the website and reached general customer service. Spoke with a Penny and was told I could reschedule and be taken care of. I already scheduled everything for that location so I decided to wait. Called back at 12:30 to make sure someone was there. Spoke with a gentleman who said they were on lunch. Went back and received no apology for being made to wait over an hour to pick up the truck. Nobody bothered to contact me to say they wouldn't be there. The general manager, Barbara Ridgeway, insinuated that I was lying as she "had been there all day." She then checked her time sheet and saw she clocked out at 11:16 for lunch. No apology there either. She asked if I had called her cell number that's "plastered all over the door" (it's written very small in one spot). No, I didn't call your cell phone. It's not my job to track down a manager when I made an appointment a week prior to pick up. She was all around extremely rude. I had lost a couple of my movers because they were on a scheduled timeframe. Ended up moving everything with only two other people. All Barbara said regarding a discount was "well, we'll see what the mileage and everything looks like when you get back." Well. Because I got the uhaul late, I wasn't able to return the truck before closing to discuss a discounted price. I am extremely dissatisfied with the disrespect and unprofessional attitude I was shown. I will absolutely not be going back to this location.
