The staff at this location did an excellent job of accommodating the changes I made to my rental as my moving situation evolved. They were professional, courteous, and friendly. I really appreciate them and how nice they were. The truck was in great shape and ran very well. I used the after-hours online check out and the whole process was quick and easy. Y'all did a great job. Thank you.

Customer service renting the truck was fine. Returning it was not. I pulled the truck into the return area and just sat and waited for an associate to come help. After several minutes I walked inside to find one employee, an older man working. He was on the phone and so I waited until he got off. After 5 minutes of me standing in front of him with zero acknowledgment, not even a head nod I said out loud “I don’t have time to stand here all day, the truck is in the return area” and I left. He never even said a word to me. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Train your employees to be consistent with each other in your process. I asked the lady if I should just hook up the trailer and wait for her to come out to verify the trailer lights are working, as this is what the gentleman had me do 3 weeks prior with another trailer rental at the same location. The lady responded right away telling me no, that she is required to hook up the trailer and I wasn’t allowed to do it. She asked me what the 2nd ball was on my hitch and I was surprised that for someone renting out trailers didn’t know that it was for a sway bar or what sway bars were. I told her how retarded it was that for insurance reasons she was required to hook it up and take pictures, because what if I were to unhitch it later and hitch back up if need be. (Valid point). I obviously know how to use trailers having a hitch receiver on my Jeep and if you were to turn around and say that you don’t know for a fact that I know how to hook a trailer up, then how do I know your employees know how to hook one up when it’s being towed by my vehicle and I’m darn sure that I will verify that your employee hooked it up correctly to my vehicle that I would be most conserned about before I drive off, especially when now I know that your employees don’t always follow the procedure they are required to and are not knowledgeable enough to know what a ball mount is for a sway bar. I’m not dissatisfied with my service there persay, and both employees were pleasant and polite. I’m just giving you a valid reason why your policy to not allow a customer to hook up their trailer is retarded.

The first trailer had a flat tire and without looking to see if it had a nail or other leak the guy put air in it like it wasn't going to be a problem in the next 8 hours of driving. So switched to a different trailer which had trash all over it, I had to sweep out the trailer pop bottles, screws, trash before I could use the trailer.

I always go to this U-Haul facility because I have always had good equipment, quick and easy reservation, pickup and return. The people at this U-Haul are always friendly and nice to deal with.I will be back when the time comes.

Well, the vehicle I reserved wasn't even at the location. I never received a confirmation email, but I did receive a confirmation call. The woman that called me didn't tell me that the location I selected didn't have the vehicle I reserved. Total confusion and poor communication between the pickup center, the call center, and me, the paying customer. They upgraded me to a truck, but what I wanted was a van. Which I reserved. I was told I would have to go to a different location in a different town, if I wanted the vehicle that I reserved. The truck that they "upgraded" me into, had awful headlights. Seeing as I required the vehicle to be used at night, (I worked the following day, so it had to be done at night) headlights are a fairly important function. They were so dim and poorly adjusted that when it started to drizzle, I considered cancelling the move and just returning the truck for a full refund. I figured that would be even more of a hassle, so I just drove extremely slow until I made it to my destination. This is a long trip-Janesville, Wisconsin to Chicago, Illinois. This will definitely be the last time I rent from Uhaul.

Amber was incredibly helpful. For whatever reason when we tried to hook up the trailer that we had arranged to rent the lights didn't work with either our truck or our highlander and she was able to help us rent a truck for a reasonable amount of money so that we could move and make our deadline. Thank you Amber!

Trailer was dirty, but not unusable. Brakes were horrific. It was only after I returned it that I found out that they could be adjusted. My 250 mile trip was hell on my body and my vehicle. It would have been helpful if I was told about the brake adjustment before I took the trailer.

Please don't advertise you 4 x 8 trailer as that, It isn't 4 feet wide inside. I almost didn't get my fridge in. Took a lot of work.

The guy I rented the trailer to me (Elijah) was very very nice and polite. He really listened to me during the whole experience. When I returned the trailer the next day, the guy who check me in (Rolando) was very attentive and very helpful. He also interacted with my autistic daughter. There was a problem with the charge of the bill and I had to go in, Rolando made sure it was taken care of. The lady however that was in the office appeared to be short with me. I got a discounted rental and she was asking why I got a discounted price. I personally found her very snooty. She also had a tuperware of her food with a plastic fork on the counter, that she just finished eating I presume which I think is kind of unprofessional when customers are coming in. The whole experience at this location was good except for the lady which made it unpleasant and irritating because of her attitude. When I left the guy Rolando was cleaning the uhaul that was left before and he was very polite and gave great customer service

The cargo van used was in excellent condition and was perfect for the task at hand. The fact that it was equipped with cruise control made the 2000 miles of use safe and easy.
