I waited over 45 minutes to return the truck back in, while I wife and daughter waited in the car.

The young lady who assisted me when I picked the trailer up was excellent and the other two employees seemed to be very quick to help get customers get what they needed and on the way!! I also thought they worked very well as a team. My return was not nearly as pleasant. The gentleman outside yelled at me for not parking the trailer where I should have and acted as if I had damaged the trailer and was trying to hide the damage. He told to get back in my car so he could check the trailer lights? Really, I have rented trailers from this location a number of times and was never asked, let alone comanded to "get back in my car" to test the lights!?! He was jerking on the wiring harness attached to my car, and demanded "WHY did you plug the lights in there!?!" I replied because that is the only place there was a plug, I guess a pigtail was missing from the trailer but it was missing when I picked up the trailer. He was very rude and condescending! I am nearly 50 years old and DO NOT appreciate another adult speaking to me as if I were a child!! The girl that assisted me at the counter when I returned was indifferent and not very polite. The difference between the staff from pick up and the drop off could NOT have been more different!! As I mentioned earlier I have rented from this location a number of times over the past few years. If the drop off staff was my only experience at this location I would NEVER come back!!!

I rented a 5 x9 trailer I showed up at reservation time everything was going well until we hooked up lights of the trailer and found a few the didn't work and it took a while to get them fixed as a lot of new people had just started that very day over this rental worked very well and I will uhaul again it was just a rough start of waiting a few hours to get everything set

Service was terrible! I called and spoke to Tyrel and he was wonderful. Friendly informative, polite. Then I came to pick up my van, no Tyrel. Girl was rude, unknowlegeable, could not even smile. Drop off, yet another person who was rude, inconsiderate, SLOW! I had the van for an hour, because of a mix up, I was given the wrong paperwork for the van I rented, the drop off took 30 minutes! Then he had to call the rude women who gave me the wrong paper work and seemed to think this was my fault. And never an apology for the delay. Extended the drop off to 40 minutes! Remember, an hour rental!

Because the dolly and pads were NOT in truck, even though they were originally ordered, and the rep had placed one way trip vs two way trip, I was only charged for the amount of gas for one way. I completely filled the tank when 5/8 of tank was only required as saying, "Thanks". Thank God I had strong friends to carry the W/D up basement stairs without the dolly.

I reserved a 17' truck, and was upgraded to a 26' truck. The area I was moving from has a very narrow and windy driveway which is why I didn't want that truck in the first place. I also reserved the truck online for 24 hours. I wasn't able to pick up the truck until 6pm in the evening, and it was to be returned by 1pm the following day. My bill was also incorrect. I was told that I was to pay a balance of $13 for fuel, and now I am receiving a bill that is over $70. I will never use U-Haul again. It was not convenient, the staff was not friendly, and it made our overall move more difficult.

The first trailer that was hooked up had cuts in the casing of the wiring, and the right side lights would not work. Employee hooking this up blamed my vehicle for the issue before even inspecting the uhaul equipment. I explained my trailer wiring was fine, as I had just towed another trailer a few days prior. Pointed out the cuts in the trailer wires and requested another trailer. Lights worked fine on the one. New trailer was covered with dirt on the inside floor. My contact was to return the trailer by 9pm. Returned at 8pm, but the next morning received an email that I was being charged another day as equipment was not "checked in" until 7:15am the next day. When picking up the trailer, I verified (multiple times) that I could return after hours, without being charged, as long as it was back prior to the posted time on the contract. When calling the local office to get refunded, I was told their 800# customer service does all of this off-site (even though local office has security cameras that would show the trailer being returned on time.) Called customer service only to be told, "I will escalate this to a manager who will be in contact within 3 days." Very disappointing process, and would use a different company if available in my city.

Ameenah got me all hooked up, I had no idea what to do so that was nice. One small thing. The confirmation email gives you every piece of information, time, etc. but doesn't list the location, only U-haul in Janesville. I only point this out because there were 3 in town I believe and the next day it took a moment to remember which one I booked with. Thanks

Customer service was poor. The girl that helped me was to busy complaining about not getting to see the football game and how she was ready to leave at 530(this was at noon) that she never explained the after hours drop off procedure, knowing I would be dropping it off after. I arrived at 510 (10 minutes after close) and knocked on the door to ask how to check the truck in. She locked up when I knocked on the door then went back to work. Figured out how to check the truck in online but the website wouldn't read my location so I was never able to. Overall the truck was fine, but the 3 times I've used that location over the last 6 years the customer service is short with me and not very helpful.

The weather was bad, needed the truck to bring my new snow blower home. The wipers on this truck were plain worn out and as such I had to stop every 10 miles or so to knock the heavy ice off the wipers, because when the wipers iced up, then ice build up on the ed in shield was bad -Also no ice scrapers in the truck-really?? No ice scrapers in Wisconsin in December ? PLEASE !
