I made my reservation 3 weeks prior to my move. I stopped in to see Todd at Treasure Coast Blinds a few days later so he could look over my car and be sure to have the correct tow dolly for me. I called him two days prior to my move, as he had asked, to verify that he had both my truck and my tow dolly ready to go. He assured me that he did. But when I arrived to rent the equipment he did not have the proper tow dolly for my car even though he had examined my car previously. So I rented the truck from him and he sent me across town to rent a tow dolly from another dealer. He told the other dealer over the phone to just charge me as a walk in for the tow dolly. The walk in charge was $70 more then my originally agreed upon price. That proprietor was kind enough to call the traffic office to see how to charge me only the original $106 fee. Unfortunately it was not easy to accomplish this on the U-Haul computer. It took approximately an hour and a half to complete the transaction. At one point I was even behind the counter looking at the program with the proprietor trying to figure it out. It was only when his boss walked in and was able to finish the transaction that I was finally able to leave. While this was going on, the movers that I had hired to fill the truck from my storage unit we're getting antsy. They had been recommended to me by U-Haul and hired for 2 hours. After about a half an hour into their time I called them again to say I would be there shortly I was just hung up at the U-Haul office. When I finally got back to my storage unit they were nowhere in sight. Fortunately a Good Samaritan in the adjoining storage unit along with a couple friends who I had to call at the last minute helped me move my stuff. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid by hiring them in the first place. So thanks to Todd not being diligent in obtaining the proper equipment for me in a timely manner, I wasted a lot of time that day. The proprietor who rented me the tow dolly had a sign up in his office that said "$50 refund if your equipment isn't here as promised". Todd did not have the same sign or the same offer. No wonder! He owed me at least $50 for the inconvenience. I certainly would not recommend his location to anybody. Nice guy but irresponsible. Not a big help when you're trying to move. Particularly aggravating when I did everything right to prepare for the move and the U-Haul guy screws me over!

Rushed me in and rushed me out wouldn't didn't give me time to look at the contract because he had a job to go to. Told me that the insurance was $72 ,he didn't tell me was $72 at both pick-up and drop-off. Told me it would be $20 a day and and didn't tell me that after so many days it would be 40 so I spent a lot more money than I wanted to .I do not recommend U-Haul

The rental agent didn’t answer the phone with “u-haul” I had to ask if I was calling the correct business. I had to call more than once because my reservation was switched to this location and I needed to make sure the right size truck would be available. That was odd. Also when I returned the truck to the same location I needed a printed receipt and the same person was completing the transaction on a laptop computer connected to the internet by his cellphone hotspot and it took about 25 minutes for me to get my receipt. I like to think that had he had a better or separate internet connection I’d would have been in and out in just a few minutes not almost half an hour. That was odd too. This isn’t my first Uhaul rental the truck worked fine and I’ll use you again because you found the correct size truck I needed and you were reasonably priced.

My original reservation was supposed to be picked up at Safe & Sound Storage on Jennings Rd. I made the reservation 3 weeks ahead of time. I called the location 6 times the morning of my move to see if I could pick my truck up any earlier. There was no answer to any of my calls. When I arrived, I was told there was no truck for me and no solution to the problem. The attitude of the representative was appalling. I was told I was the 5th person this had happened to that morning and there is nothing they can do. There was no attempt to remedy the situation at all. I had to call around to every location to get a truck so I can move on schedule. I was saved by the very nice gentleman at the Dixie hwy location who was very kind and worked hard to get me in the truck I needed.

Last 3 times I rented from this location the fuel was pretty much on empty. When I brought the truck back I was charged 53$ for a fill up fee and the last time I put in 20$ over just so I didn’t run out of fuel and was never reimbursed for any of that money ... crazy stuff . I’d change my review if they would stop ripping me off. Already called once about it and they had me on hold for almost 30 mins

The Dealers were fine. The 800 number personnel NOT helpful with confusing signals. Website gave WRONG info on availability and location. In the future We will deal ONLY with location NOT UHAUL web or phone!

Although Todd was the friendliest Uhaul person I spoke with during this move it was overall a horrible experience. He left the keys in the truck and someone else took it. My son had to wait a long time for another one to come. He was driving all night because of it and he had to work today. I really wish I didn't have to do this. I would have loved for everything to go smoothly but it did not. This was my 2nd truck because I followed the guidelines on the website and everything did not fit. I will be contacting you because I expect a refund. Thank you for asking.

The UHaul website was very slow both when I made the reservation and when I picked up the trailer. That was not an issue with my computer nor the pick up locations computer. It is a UHaul website problem. That needs to be remedied or there will be more disgruntled customers and dealers.
