Truck was 2 and 1/2 quarts of oil low when I got it home and fueled and checked fluids for my trip.. trucks need to be maintained closer..Truck that was originally reserved wasn't available.. upgraded truck size for same price..

Anthony the gm messed up charged my card $100 I had a VIP coupon used it but money never returned to my card I been calling all day and calls get reverted to customer service They email Anthony to call me back several times and no response back Never again will I use uhaul again as this is the 3rd time they screwed up my reservation Anyone needing a rental truck I sujest u go to another competitor. Uhaul will screw u , they used the VIP coupon & still charge my account & now I can't get back Fyi VIP coupon I got from when better business beauru got involved because they refused to fix the issues FYI USE ANOTHER COMPETIOR

Te wheel ratchet straps were rusted and sticking. I had to lube them up and play with them to get them to work properly

I brought the truck back what it was on gas wise, and the guy said it wasnt but i forgot to take pic of gas gauge and had to pay 11.50, I tried to tell him and he said it wasnt and wasnt very friendly kind of arrogant.

the website for returning my trailer didn't work. there was no "return" link on the site. I then tried using my iphone to return the trailer, but it could not find my location even after making sure location services was turned on for the browser. so i was unable to do the return check online. also, there were no instructions in my contract package (paperwrk) on how to return; there didn't seem to be any way to secure the trailer at the dropoff location (after hours).

My rental agreement was scheduled for pick-up of U-Haul truck @ 9:00AM. Upon arriving on location, I saw several people waiting outside to get into the building. The employee who was scheduled that day decided not to show up to work that day. Someone finally showed up at 10:00AM, the general manager. After waiting for over an hour, I was finally ready to rent my truck. I expected fast and courteous service. The GM was extremely rude and seemed as if he was pissed off that he had to be at work on a Sunday. He was not helpful, wouldn't exchange one dolly for another, and overall was a complete jerk. I tried calling customer service to report the issue and was hung up on twice. I typically rent from U-Haul a few times a year, but because of this experience, I'll never rent from U-Haul again. I will also never recommend anyone to U-Haul at this point.

Absolutely terrible experience, the U-Haul broke down two times and I wasted more time standing around waiting for it to get fixed then getting to move the things I needed.all U-Haul offered me was to give me more time ..4 more hours with the truck.

We showed up at 7am which is the time the reservation was for and nobody showed up until 7:40. The manager stated the person that was suppose to open was a no show and never even apologized. I was told I was compensated but I my total was almost more than what I was originally quoted because they didn't have the size truck I reserved a week prior! To make matters worse the lady we spoke with didn't believe me that we waited for someone to open this location and we weren't not the only ones waiting! Another couple was on the phone with the corporate office very upset. We were put behind almost an hour on our move and very inconvenienced yet nobody seemed to care.

This is my overall experience with U-HAUL and not to reflect on the Joplin location at all. The only good experience was with Rebecca in customer service and receptionist at Joplin location. The U-HAUL in Commerce OK was closed early even after I let them know that I was on my way. Rebecca did find me another 26-footer and U-Haul place that was still open in Joplin MO. 35 minutes away from Commerce okay where I had originally made my reservations. Between paying the movers an extra hour of work even though they weren't working because I had already had them scheduled for a certain time, and paying for the extra gas it cost me well over $100. Then there is the experience I had at the U-Haul in Broken Arrow on Elm Street when I dropped off the truck. I don't want to even go into that. I've used U-Haul before and never had this kind of experience. I am still waiting on the manager in the Commerce Oklahoma area to give me a call back.
