The drop off location in Surrey was very difficult to negotiate. I had to back the large Trailer around a corner and down a fairly long narrow road.
JOHN GI was told and quoted one price however was charged double to price, plus was not told able the procedures on how to return while the business was closed which I was not told it would be closed that day. We have used U-Haul many times however after this experience will be switching over to another company
Twila VCan-Ex provided great service. However, I reserved this trailer and received confirmation it was to be picked up at a different location and at a different time (830am instead of 7:30am). I had things scheduled tightly on my end so this became a inconvenient setback. I had also confirmed that I could purchase a mattress bag, and packing tape when picking up the trailer (at originasl location). So when i picked up the trailer at Can-ex, the service was great but they didnt have the matress bag i needed, so drove to the other location which had a lineup at the service counter, and i didnt have trime to wait as i was already an hoiur behind schedule. The dropoff destination was in Quesnel on Baker street which was to be open at 9:00 am, but the business wasnt open so I waited about 5 or 10 minutes then just left the trailer there and called the business and left a voice mail that it had been dropped off. Can-ex was good, but the way Uhaul conducts business seems to have some very inconvenient flaws which i will be cautious of next time and will warn others as well.
