The electronic system wasnt working and they said it rarely does. Had to swipe my card 5 times. Nice people frustrated by a poor system.

I oonly opened one bag of blankets. I felt like I should have gotten a refund for the bags I never opened. I also accidentally filled the gas tank instead of leaving it at 3/4 tank. I know money can not be estimated for extra gas but it would have been nice to get the money back for the blankets I didn’t open

We reserved a 17’ truck and got stuck with a 26’ truck. I don’t understand why you reserve a truck and it says available but then wasn’t when we showed up. There were no other options because they were “over booked”. The truck was a very old version and the cab smelled like smoke and was extremely dirty inside. Several lights were lit on the dash, oil light, and ABS.

Mileage was incorrect and I didn’t check it. I was charged 40 additional miles more. Previously set up as an express by an employee at the same site —site didn’t offer express servuce. Waited 2 hours for an error they caused. No compensation.

The customer service representative behind the counter was professional, courteous, and efficient. I would rate him excellent overall. However, the vehicle was delivered to me with a known fault. I drove out (literally 100 yards away and as I turned onto the highway) the service tire monitor system lights flashed and remained on. I reviewed the air pressure screen which revealed tire air pressures of 30 and 31 in the front, 34 and no air in the rear. Every time I turned the engine off and on again the indicator system would flash on screen indicating inadequate tire pressures on the vehicle. I am certain the person delivering the vehicle to me would have seen this when he started the vehicle and drove it up to the delivery line (the vehicle was running when I approached). I spent valuable moving/rental time verifying the tire did not have an object in it causing a slow leak or was damaged causing an unsafe condition. I put air in all of the tires to correspond to the recommended tire pressures and checked them at regular intervals during my trip. The flat or low tire indicator remained on during the duration of my trip and was not something I really wanted to deal with. I was disappointed I had to deal with one more thing ...

Maybe a few more instructions when returning the vehicle. I parked and went into the location and was then told to pull under the canopy and someone would meet me there. This was not explained to me when I picked up the vehicle. Other than that an excellent experience.

This is the far most worst U-Haul moving & storage I’ve been too, and I rent from U-Haul moving & storage at Southlake every Friday. The customer service was horrible from management to regular employees. I wish I knew all of their name, but I have one her name was Belinda Bolton she was just nasty from attitude on own she told me somebody will pull the truck around but they never did I waited 10 minutes went and found one of the guys they were in the corner talking to another employee and manager about some women with a big butt so I guess that’s the distraction. He finally got my truck and the miles was off by one so I told him he tells me oh it’s ok it’s only 0.79. I told him to mark it Down he walked away and started back talking about the woman again. I went inside talked to the manager and he was just as rude as them. I will never recommend this location to anybody NOBODY I HOOE THIS GOES STRAIGHT TO CORPORATE

I waited in line for about 30-40 minutes after reserving online and completing express checkin before arriving. When I was finally able to be helped I was told there was a problem and I needed to call uhaul corporate, who told me there was nothing showing on their end. I was then told that they didn't have the size truck I ordered multiple days in advance and I would have to take a larger truck. I was not comfortable driving a larger truck, so they told me they did have the size I wanted- the truck I recieved had moderate body damage. This is not the experience I would expect from such a large company.

Check to make sure the side mirrors are adjusted correctly before giving the truck to me. I had to adjust the passenger side mirror before leaving. A mild inconvenience that won’t stop my 5 star review.

Customer service and their communication skills.. I ended up paying 500.00 more than what i signed up for and i made reservation 3 months in advance. The cost was changed the day of me leaving the states and i was pissed about it. On top of that the store manager got smart about it. He was not polite and he was not helpful at all. I believe his name was Robert Benard.. Rude individual

Make sure everything is clear when the customer rent out truck for long distance travel. On the day of me picking up truck they changed the price and told me at the last minute the truck I had reserved 3 months BEFORE the actual pickup date.. was a turn around truck and I specifically asked for one way and drop off. My price went up from 1100 to 1500 dollars. I was unable to afford for insurance to cover the truck because of this drastic change on the day of me leaving the states. I was very disappointed with that and then on top of that one of the front desk clerk made a smart comment about it. As if I knew how it works.. instead of apologizing he made a smart remark... and when he did this we asked his name and this is his name: Mr. ROBERT BERNARD... His remarks was really uncalled for.

The tire pressure was ridiculous and I had to go out of my way and waste time to pump them up. The truck tires are supposed to be 35 PSI. The four tires were 48 PSI, 35 PSI, 21 PSI, and 24 PSI. The least you can do is confirm tire pressure before handing out a rental vehicle.

I had a reservation but still waited over 15 minutes to check in. There were several people there but only 1 person renting trucks. The truck itself was fine and it was clean. The problem was when I returned it. I drove exactly 53 miles and the truck had 1/2 a tank of gas. I put 6.148 gallons of gas in the truck at a gas station 1/4 mile down the road. I didn't look at the gas meter after I refueled but 6.148 gallons on gas put the needle in between 3/8 and 1/2 tank and I was charged an additional $12.75 for gas at $4.50/gallon, which means I would have needed 9 gallons to get the needle back to 1/2, which is absurd on only 53 miles of mostly highway use. The guy even told me that they don't even put gas back in the truck but they simply charge me if it's not at the same level. Clearly their automated way on a cell phone app to calculate how much more fuel is needed is not only flawed but skews in their favor to screw their customers out of money. 6.148 gallons of gas should have easily put the tank back to 1/2 as they guy said they should average about 10-11 gallons/mile. I will never again rent from u-Haul as a result of what I consider fraud and abuse.
