Location was dumpy and filthy. Associates did not act like they knew what they were doing. When the truck was finally brought "up" from somewhere, it was dirty and the young woman who checked it in could not read the gas gauge. The location did not have enough furniture pads to fill my order. The ones they did have were dirty and full of sand burr. Although new, the truck did not have a working left turn signal (discovered this later in my trip).

The truck was delayed by the other customer til 3:00. I asked the owner to call me when the truck came in so I could pick it up and start loading. At 2:00, I drove by and saw the truck. When I went in to get it, they didn't have the dolly I'd requested neither the 24 blankets. I took the 5 blankets they had and the flat dolly. Also the owner and several customers use profanity. I'm very disappointed in the service.

Excellent customer service. I would give them 5 of 5 stars. Even though we had to drive 100 miles round trip because the customer service in Odessa was so horrible it was worth it. I would never recommend the location in Odessa, 3001 Andrews hwy, to anyone. The incompetent man was not only rude he did not have the ability to speak to a female without being inappropriate & condescending. His attitude got worse when I didn't accept what he had to offer. I ended up going to Kermit to get my reservations filled. I did find a totally different level of superior ability and customer service. Odessa neighborhood store employee needs to be evaluated with high concern of his ability to service his customers.

the main problem was U-Haul customer service and policy. This is the second time it has happened to me within a year. Why would I be told a day prior to pick up to drive 60 or more miles to pick up a vehicle after making this booking 3 weeks in advance?

While this location was good, our overall experience was terrible. We reserved it at a particular place, got to the place, they said they didn't have it so sent us to another one in town, got there, they said they had it but it had been double booked and the other person had priority. We ended up having to drive 60 miles away to finally get this truck. This is our 3rd experience with uhaul this year and each one has been a fiasco.

Their lot is across the street and if they get busy, you have to go search for it on your own. Is there no inventory system they could use to know exactly where in the lot the equipment is?

Woman acted like she didn't really care if i rented from her or not, i had to find my own trailer and hook it up. I asked her if there was any damage i needed to look at and write down, she said she had no clu and i could put stickers on it if i wanted, it had just come in an hr before and she was busy with the fuel. I took the unit and left, i had to sweep the dirt out myself and all i carried was boxes and a bed.

First I would like to say the people were pleasant! Second, their knowledge of the Uhaul computer system nor wanting to learn it shows! I was there almost 1and a half hours trying to pick up a truck and trailer. The truck was filthy when I picked it up, and when I said something the response I got was "not my job"

I was contacted at the last minute for a two week reservation that I had made, that the equipment that I ordered would not be available. I traveled to Kermit TX where I was assured that my order would be. When I arrived in Kermit TX , there was no 14ft truck as promised I took a 10ft truck and a 6ft open trailer and I was told that the extra miles would be covered back to Pecos TX, yesterday when I turned in the equipment in Horizon TX they were not covered. I tried to call The Abeline TX office they did not answer! Yesterday 7-30-2013 I had to spend $150,00 more to go back to Pecos to pickup things that did not fit in the Equipment that I was given. I am permanently Disabled and I had to connect and disconnect the Equipment on my own.. So what I asked for and what I got was not at all satisfactory!!! I and my Family will not ever use U-Haul again, Because my Son's equipment he ordered was also not where he ordered it in Pecos, TX.

Have furniture pads/blankets available when reserved. I was short 3 dozen blankets. Three weeks ago I rented and the main U-haul location in College Station, TX did not have a single blanket. I can not trust Uhaul to provide supplies reserved weeks in advance. I will do my best to never rent from Uhaul again.
