The computer/credit card machine connection needs to be looked at for repair or upgrade. That said, the staff was very helpful and able to override these connection problems.

a little tiny 5 watt LED bulb above the key drop-box would be welcome. It's hard to see in the dark. Let us know that if we are 2 hours late in picking up the truck that you may rent it to someone else or at least give the renter a headache when trying to rent it with a smart phone.

Two issues... First, I was charged $10.60 in tax that did not show up on my online summary. This caught me by surprise and annoyed me. It came across as a hidden upcharge. Second, the 15 foot truck I ordered was really only 12 feet, with a three foot "mom's attic". That seems very much like false advertising and made me rethink if I'll do business with U-haul again. It would be much better to list it as a 12-foot truck with a bonus storage area above the cab. It really made it difficult to pack everything, since I was counting on 15 feet of floor space.

The location was very nice and the service was top notch. The only issue I had is with the dashboard lighting. Once it became dark and I turned on the headlights, you could barely see the numbers (speed, fuel, etc.) on the dashboard. All you could see was the needle. The truck did have over 140k miles which may have added to this.

This experience started from getting a call in the late afternoon the day before our move telling us that we no longer have our 26' truck. After jumping through hoops and being treated very poorly, we were able to locate a 20' truck an hour away (next available 26' was 4 hours out of our way). We had to throw out valuable items due to not having any room on the truck and not having storage on such short notice. We had to drive another 20 minutes out of the way to pick up the auto tow. Once we were finally all connected and ready to go, the trailer turn signals were not working when connected to the truck. An hour and a half later, after swapping the cigarette fuse with the broken fuse, it worked. Unfortunately, it stopped working again en route, causing a potentially dangerous situation. I was still charged an $18 gas charge because when we realized the signals were not working, we had enough gas to get here safely and did not want to stop, potentially causing a deadly situation. The straps on the auto-tow were also too short (due to being cut from previous use) to fit my truck and barely fit my fiance's car. This was an extremely poor experience all around.

The transport trailer we rented was supposed to be brand new. Upon leaving the rental site, the breaks on the trailer were locked up and we're burning hot. We had to call for help. We waited almost 4 hours for repair and the company dispatched didn't even have the proper tools to fix the problem. We had to borrow our own tools to complete the fix.

Keep up the great work!!

My only frustration was that the dolly/hand truck, which I didn't need, was in the way of loading and unloading the truck. It was also frustrating trying to clean the dirt and debris out from around the dolly because it is not movable unless I want to pay $7 to clean around something I didn't need in the first place. Perhaps make it an option at the time of pick up.

A renter should be able to pick up a unit at the location they requested!!! Instead of chargeing the renter more money to pickup and return it farther away

Had to fix trailer lights so we could use the trailer. There was a nail in the tire and had to be fixed. The ball bearings need to be greased. Trailer should have been checked and maintained before it was sent out to be rented.
