I RENT AT THIS LOCATION SEVERAL TIMES PER MONTH. THE PICKUP RENTAL TODAY WAS THE FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE. I TOOK THE TRUCK BACK WITH THE SAME LEVEL FUEL AND THE KID CHARGED ME $7.50 FOR FUEL CHARGES. WE LOOKED AT IT SEVERAL TIMES AND HE WAS WRONG. HE ARGUED WITH ME FOR A LONG TIME AND I MAY NOT GO BACK THERE.

I was not told that the original pick up location was closed. I had to call when I arrived and was told it had been switched. They said the file was noted that they had tried to call but I had no messages at home or on my phone and no indication from the call logs that I was contacted. It cost me a half an hour or more of time.

All the employees here are extremely friendly and helpful. From the people who work the inside counter, to the ones doing the equipment returns outside....I have used this location twice now and would recommend them to everyone I know...can't say enough good about this place.

Get rid of false and misleading advertising. Your website and trucks say $19.95/24 hrs plus mileage for the truck I rented. When I picked it up, I was told that I had to have it back in 4 hours or I would be charged another $19.95, and I was in fact charged the additional $19.95. I was also told if I had it back later than 5 hours, I would also be charged a late fee of $75, in addition to the other charges. When I checked out, the attendant said the total was $79.22 ($29.67 for the mileage, which was accurate). I asked if the total charge was for the $19.95 rental fee plus mileage, and I was told it was. I was not given an itemized receipt at the time because it was emailed. When I received the email, I saw that I was charged a $39.90 rental charge, plus the mileage charge of $29.67. I will not be renting from Uhaul, or at least this location, ever again. I feel deceived and cheated.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They worked quickly to attend to me. That being said, they improperly hooked up my truck to the auto carrier. Only one tire strap was holding my truck down. Unacceptable.

The truck was in bad condition and they assured me it would drive better once on the highway. Then the A/C went out, it was unsafe and a miserable trip. I suggested the manager call another location to locate a truck, but he did refund me some money. I suggest you don't let customers leave in vehicles that are not safe to drive.

Rented a 26' truck friday evening, 7/22. Moved a few items that evening and because driveway is steep (uphill) truck got stuck backing out of driveway. Turned in truck at 7ish am on Sat 7/23 and had to pay for full day...$228.73. Then had to go to Alcoa to pick up a 20' truck. Alcoa staff was friendly and helpful and gave me the smaller truck & I was scheduled to turn it in on Mon. Finished moving much sooner than expected and turned in 20' truck to 7209 Kingston pike on 7/23, (sat!) and was charges $141.12. 1st truck picked up at 5:30 pm Fri. Turned in at 7:30 am Sat am and paid $228.73 then pick up 2nd truck on Sat at approx 8:30am tirned it in on Sat 6:30pm for $141.12. Seems as if we got robbed. We have used U-haul trucks our entire lives, even moved cross country with U-haul, but frankly we'll use any other trucking company but U-haul from now on!!! We are not satisfied coustomers!

The man who checked me in at opening wasn't ready for business. I had to wait several minutes while he opened his computer and counted his money. He wasn't friendly at all. On the other hand, the young man who checked me in upon return of the truck was personable, friendly and professional.

Please provide vehicles that are capable of the haul we are making, you gave me 745 miles and a truck that barely made it. I will most likely not use uhaul the next time that I need to move.

The staff was friendly and the truck worked perfectly. However, when I got the truck I was told that the gas tank was completely full. It was not, and I returned it at an identical level. I even took a picture before I moved the vehicle to prove it. However when I looked at the statement, I was charged for 1.9 gallons of gas because it was returned not full. I returned the exact amount of gas there was when I rented it and was still charged. I find it ironic that when the truck was given to me at an almost full level it was considered to be a full gas tank. But when I returned it at the same level, it is not considered the same. I understand that this was a small amount, but this is a principle issue.

My issue is with Uhaul, I booked a truch then found out I'd need to travel 20+ minutes each way to pick it up. I canceled that booking then rebooked and was able to pick up at the Knoxville location. Why can't Uhaul deliver the truck to the desired customer location?

Very rude staff, they tried to charge me for 120 miles when I actually drove it 20 miles. I complained and they would not listen. As it turned out they had entered the milage incorrectly when I took the van out. Again, after complaining they accepted to refund my card in a few days. Then, I was followed by the clerk outside where she shot me the bird, cussed me, told me to Fuck off. The manager and other staff followed her and the insults got worse. Fearing violence towards me and my wife I left.

no one came out when we returned the trailer to check us out even though I drove into the return area and the noise indicator had gone off. After a few minutes I went inside and asked someone to come out. There was one customer inside and 4 people working behind the desk. Better attention to return would be helpful to make this excellent service.

It takes an incredibly long time to get anything done at this location. There is 1 guy that is very quick and you can feel his sense of urgency. Unfortunately he is outnumbered by the rest of the staff who are in no hurry to get anything done and once you finally get to the counter they take an exorbitant amount of time to complete even the most simple transactions. Moreover they are constantly engaging in conversations within customer ear space (or while helping customers) with each other rather than attending to their source of income: customers.
