There was a guy in Lake Forest who does woodwork. He did not work for UHaul but helped out someone who did work for UHaul but wasn't there to help us. I am beyond disappointed in UHaul and the service we received. They told us they had a 15 ft truck for rent IN Rancho Santa Margarita, it was NOT there for us when we went there. Then finally, they did have a 10 ft that wasn't enough BUT did help. The main service people (Annie) was way less than helpful. She kept saying they tried to get us via email and text, and I told her I was DRIVING and could not intercept their mistake. So we went all over town and finally got one in Lake Forest, luckily the guy who didn't work for UHaul helped us.
BRIAN KItems missing and no one to help and no number to call for help. Called main number and talked to some one issues not resolved. This was made more frustrating by my original order not being able to be filled and being required to pick up from different locations. I asked to file a complaint to have customer service reach out
David HThere posted hours showed they opened at 9am. I scheduled pickup for 9am, no one was there. I called number, they said someone would be there at 10:30. They called me back and had me open a lock box to get key. There was no accessories that I had ordered and was told to go to another location. This was a absolute mess.
Brian JExtremely unprofessional and frustrating experience. My rental was scheduled for 10:00 AM, but no one was available to give me the keys until 10:40 AM, wasting 40 minutes of my time with no explanation or apology. I rented the truck for 5 hours, yet I was incorrectly charged for 3 full days. This is unacceptable and feels dishonest. Customer service was rude, dismissive, and showed no interest in resolving the issue.
