Was billed for extra insurance, which I was sooo sure I opted out of when I reserved online. When I brought the trailer back at 2:30, they were mysteriously closed for the day, even though their hours were till 5?? So, just snapped a few pics and left the trailer where they got it for me? The fella was super helpfull... but also not really? My car has an unusual after market hitch. Id have been thrilled to just hook the trailer on myself, but he insisted on helping. Which would have been nice, except I had to guide him through, and I felt the need to double check one we left. Staff were super nice though.
Jacob MI had to wait for them to open even though my pickup appointment was at 9am, the guy strolled out of his RV half asleep and opened the doors at 9:05 after I called the office, knocked on the door, etc. When trying to drop off the trailer, I was told they couldn't receive it because of a load of trucks they were getting at the same location I picked it up at and told me to take it back to another location and I was charged a fee for dropping it off at a different location. I'll never use this location again and u haul should consider whether this location reflects their own business policies.
