U haul provided was closed the entire day and I was charged a drop off fee for dropping it off while closed.

Man. More friendly at the front desk
JULIO RDidn’t get the emails I was told I’d get with lock and number combination. My time to turn hula back in said 9am but no where did I see that on my reservation or choose that time. Worker called me and was rude and unprofessional. It was kinda trashy experience to say the least. Would never use this company again
MEGAN BThe owner of LTG Tire, also acting as a certified U-Haul Rental agency was one of the rudest and laziest people I have ever dealt with. Here is a summary of the events. My registration was scheduled for Wednesday 3/19 on 9:30 am. I arrive around 9:15 for the rental and he "Says I need to send you a link to upload your driver's license information". This was the 2nd time I received the link. The first was the day prior, when I attempted to upload my license. The link didn't work at that time. I again tried the link on Wednesday morning prior to going to U-Haul and it still didn't work. The link he sent me also didn't work. When I informed him that the link was broken. He snapped back at me saying "The link works!" I calmly handed him my phone and ID and asked him to show me. He starred at me in disgust, and I asked him again to "please show me" He takes my phone and wasn't able to do it, because the link was broken. He didn't hand me my phone back, but rather lightly tossed it across the table informing me that "iPhones are Junk" (I have an android). He then proceeded to try and use his phone, and he was also unable to access the link on his phone. Then he had to manually type my driver's license information into the screen. This next part I do not blame him for, but I find it very frustrating and inconvenient that it's not conveyed before the booking. Then I had to provide (2) contacts who could "act as references". I had to go through my phone and find people who were available for a call. If this was communicated earlier, I would of have references prepared and expecting a call. After we got past the license issue and reference call. I received 5-6 text alerts/e-mails from U-Haul. Apparently, one is a link that is used to upload pictures of the rental, that link was also broken, and I was unable to upload any pictures. I did take pictures on my phone that were timestamped in case of any damage dispute. I did notice that the site said "failure to upload pictures means I was assuming liability for any damage" or similar language. Again, if this link is going to be included in a barrage of correspondence immediately upon leaving the U-Haul it should be communicated to the customer. Most customers who rental vehicles are doing for a particular purpose and already have a truncated timeline. I wasn't prepared to read through 5 different e-mails from U-Haul, particularly when one had required action. The owner's attitude and tone will prevent me from ever visiting this business again and it also soured me from U-Haul in general.
Brett S1. Lot was full of potholes, and truck was sitting in pothole filled with water. 2. Truck was old-over 100k miles, although it ran well. Also just over a quarter tank of gas, forcing us to stop almost immediately. 3. Customer service at time of pickup snd drop off was rude answering simple questions. Just not cool and for no reason. 4. Additional surcharges and gas surcharges seemed excessive. This experience was unpleasant and we won’t use this location again, and will consider alternative rentals companies. U-Haul has been a great friend to us but wow, yesterday was not putting your best foot forward. Do better.
