Truck needs serious maintenance. Alignment was off. Sounded sluggish when driving it.

if I could give zero stars I would. Firstly, our initial reservation was changed pretty much last minute from picking up from one location and move to the other because they overbooked at the Langley location. I was told I would get a discount due to the inconvenience which I did not. Upon arrival at the new location in Walnut Grove, we noticed the truck was there, but once verifying my identity and opening up the one of three lock boxes, it was empty. The person I spoke to on the phone at customer service was not helpful and almost seemed judgemental and unwilling to help us find out how to get the key as the location office was still closed until nine. Thankfully someone who worked there was able to find the key inside and they had been keeping keys inside due to the theft of the key and the U-Haul. This does not feel like a safe place to store and pick up a truck. The lack of communication between head office and the pick up location would cause me to give zero stars if I could.
ERIN EThis location is not suited for renting of trailers - there is too much heavy truck repair going on which was chaotic, and in terms of the trailer hookup everything was blocked and I could not simply pull in/back up and hook up. It took an extra 45 minutes to get my trailer hooked up as it was sitting sideways against a trailer and had to be pulled out by several staff onto to the roadway , my truck was then blocking the street to connect up the trailer. The staff member who signed out my trailer was not immediately available either that caused yet more delay. There is no dedicated parking space for the rental trailer(s) either , when I dropped it off I had to park it sideways to the road, blocking a garbage dumpster. I will not be renting from this location ever again. The trailer worked fine however and your staff were great when I had to add an extra day rental. Thank you!
DAVID JPoor signage. Had to search for staff. Utterly filthy toilets. Office disorganized and messy. I would not allow family or people i care about to visit this location. Considering that this location is a mere 5 minutes from a much more orderly and professional outlet I would suggest that rentals from this location me sent to another for pickup.
ADRIAN AThis location is unorganized and dirty. The staff are friendly and helpful and they sorted out the error that they made at drop-off but I don’t think this location overall reflects the values U-Haul is trying to project. I will definitely rent from another location next time.
