I booked this location as I did not want to do mobile pickup - I wanted to deal with an actual person at pick up. When I got there shortly before our pick up time, I was told to use the app. I wasted precious time downloading an app I didn't want to use and when we got to the part of matching the code to the truck (the only truck visible at this location) - it didn't. We looked high and low for this truck number and it was not in sight. So back I went in to find someone and finally there was a very accommodating lady who was able to finish up the process and walked me over to another vehicle which was hidden behind the building (which I would not have found!) So we finally had our keys 45 minutes later. I tried calling the customer service line for UHAUL and there was a 45 minute wait. I tried the App chat option - 40 minute wait. I am never using UHAUL again. I'd rather pay more at an other truck rental where customer service is still valued. What a lousy experience.

Dona Pif I could give zero stars I would. Firstly, our initial reservation was changed pretty much last minute from picking up from one location and move to the other because they overbooked at the Langley location. I was told I would get a discount due to the inconvenience which I did not. Upon arrival at the new location in Walnut Grove, we noticed the truck was there, but once verifying my identity and opening up the one of three lock boxes, it was empty. The person I spoke to on the phone at customer service was not helpful and almost seemed judgemental and unwilling to help us find out how to get the key as the location office was still closed until nine. Thankfully someone who worked there was able to find the key inside and they had been keeping keys inside due to the theft of the key and the U-Haul. This does not feel like a safe place to store and pick up a truck. The lack of communication between head office and the pick up location would cause me to give zero stars if I could.
