The oil pump on the truck I rented was malfunctioning. Every time.the truck would stop, the oil pressure would drop to 0. The bed of the truck also had mud in it. I'm also not sure why there were no furniture straps to secure the contents of the trailer.

All was great, just wish I was told about checking for the "actual" mileage, only after the truck is running. My son said it dropped down as soon as it started. We replaced the gas used. We are honest people. However, I got charged $18 additional. When I commented that I was shocked since my son assured me it was at the level where we got it, I was told that they get that complaint a lot. I was told it was one line over. Does that warrant charging me 18$ ? I didn't ask for a refund for the blankets I did not use, still folded in their sealed bag. I have used this locale before, they are great, helpful, nice people I do feel like the gas situation sucks, since I know there is no way it is fair. Policy should tell people the truck must be running to get a true reading, unlike them getting a reading when it is NOT running. Just thought you would like to know the pros and cons. A mostly satisfied customer.

I just wanted to let other customers know that if a trailer is returned earlier than expected, you will be refunded for the days not used. I wanted to return the trailer earlier and called to see if I could but was told by the gentleman that I would not be reimbursed for the unused days. Thankfully there was a knowledgeable woman at the desk when I returned the trailer. She remedied the situation and because of her, I will rent from that location again in the future.

The trailer originally rented was given to someone else prior to my arrival to pickit up, even though I had a contract for it! As a result I was forced to rent a trailer that was insufficient for our needs and resulted in damage to one of my motorcycles. It will be a long time before I consider renting from you again! While i know no attempt at restitution will be made, i believe your poor customer service not only nearly caused me to cancel my vacation, but resulted in real damage that will cost me money to repair and should levet have happened!

I was surprised that even though I did the early registration that most or all of the information was not transferred to the pick up location. I mentioned to the person at the counter that U-Haul needs to do what car rental places do which means everything is ready to go except the walk around and any detailed instructions and safety reminders. Everything went well with the pick up and the staff were exceptional in explaining everything and doing the walk around. The truck performed nicely however I guessed at the wrong mpg the truck would use. It would be a nice measure to have a full tank of gas and then I would just need to refill it before dropping it off. I started with a 1/4 tank and guessed wrong on the mpg and left the truck with more than 1/2 tank....a nice $25 tip in the form of gas I bought but didn't use.

They to work on getting a newer, more durable & driver friendly 26' truck, as this one it about bounces the driver out the window, it's horrible!! Also, get the side mirrors so the driver can "safely " drive, being able to move mirror's for the driver to safely be able to see ALL spots necessary for a safe ride...

Customers need the ability to drop off a a rented U-haul when finished with it at any location, not just the location that is stated on the contract. I had a much closer drop off spot near my home but staff did not accept my return there. I had to drive another 8 miles and increased my mileage overcharge.

Tell people about mileage limitations BEFORE rental. Also, make sure trucks are maintained, transmission and brakes.
