Well this location didn’t have the truck I was supposed to use and didn’t let me know intel the morning of as I was heading to pick it up. The gal acted upset that she had to be in at 7am it was supposed to be a mobile pick up I dropped the truck off around noon July 11th the same day I picked it up well I got a receipt this morning stating I didn’t drop it off till 715am this morning Sunday July 12th and they also charged my account for additional miles I didn’t use I only drove about 60 they said I drove over 90 which isn’t true I have the life 360 app and it tells me when I complete a drive and how far with times and dates for proof on top of that they said I only returned the truck with 1/4 tank of gas which wasn’t right either cause I spent 105 at the pump to fill the truck completely up the office gal told me I would be credited 20 if I brought it back at 1/4 which I filled it up even more and instead I was charged another charge for 33 and some change I was really disappointed with this location and honestly it looks really bad on u-hauls part having these people run business under the U-Haul name. On google there is multiple complaints for a lot of the same reasons and honestly i should be asking back for a full refund with how the whole experience went. I’ve used U-Haul many times from little trip across town to moving states away and have never in my time using U-Haul have I had such a poor experience. When I returned my truck July 11th I even had to help another customer a lady who just moved to ks from New Mexico drop a trailer off her suv so she could leave she pulled into the location and no one was there to help her so I did

Rented the truck before they opened, and the check-in process was convenient. Key box was easy to find, and off I was. I will need another truck in a couple weeks, and I will come back here.
Alex BI called this location last minute after my reservation was not upheld at another location. Not only were they able to get me a truck, but they even came in early in order to help me so I could stay on my time restriction for Moving. Truck was clean and I had no issues. I would definitely come here again for moving truck services in Lawrence.

REFUGIO MThe original booking was at U-Haul of Lawrence 540 S Kasold Dr Lawrence, KS 66049. I flew to Kansas and day before picking up the truck they changed my reservation to a 20 ft truck. I reserved a 15ft for 10am pick up. They sent me to the 2nd street location instead which opened at noon (2 hr delay) I had to stand in the poring rain since there was a note on the door saying call this number, get keys from a lock box and then go way out to the truck. Then 2nd street had no blankets and sent me to the 1st location to get the blankets. There a gentleman said there were no blankets on my reservation. Now soaking wet and now 3 hours late, it was finally on the road to Washington State.
