Debbie is amazing. I came in needing a 2 day rental, then revised it later that day to a 1 way out of state, then changed it yet again the next day. All 3 times Debbie was kind and understanding. She made our rental experience enjoyable, everything we needed for our move including blankets, dollys, and tape were availible and affordable as was the rental itself. When we need to move our son again, we will definetly return to this location.

I was actually tranfer over to this location; cause the previous location that I had gone to reserve my equipment that I needed did not have it available for me. Luckily that U-Haul service rep over the phone called me immediately (within second walking to my car) and identified the error; and was able to ensure my reservation was met to standard and she had my reservation tranfer to this other location; even got an upgrade for the same price....

On The Auto transport trailer i rented, the ratchets for tightening the webbing that goes over the front tires of the vehicle were so rusted that they weren't functional. Had to spend my own money on a can of WD-40 to get them to at least move. Took a rubber mallet to finally get them freed up enough to use. Apparently uhaul doesn't have a maintenance team. Inside of the cab of the truck had 2 nasty tobacco spit bottles rolling around behind the seats/on the floor, and the heat dial seemed to be glued in place.

The gal at the office could not figure out the system, being as I used to work for uhaul I had to walk her through the screens to even take my payment, she was not sure how to hook the trailer to the hitch. It took us 45 minutes just to get the trailer paperwork and hookup. She did not give me a copy of the contract stating she would email it to me because her printer did not work yet I never received the contract.

Simple drop off procedure, which I was happy about due to all the issues with our pick-up process. We did not utilize our truck for all the reserved days, and was not eligible for a refund for the additional days we paid for but DID NOT USE. Insane to me, we will never use uhaul again!

I did not receive the Uhaul that I reserved. thus was forced to toss most of my things because of the lack of room and I could not afford a trailer because budget limitations. Also I will never use uhaul again because I had to find a way to leesville to pick up the truck that was available.

When I rented the U-Haul trailer there was not a drop off location given. I turned the U-Haul in the next day at a location that I knew. Now I have received an email saying I am going to be charged $20.00, please fix this or lose my future business. Thank you for your time.

Horrible communication between the retailers of U-Haul products and your "central" base was non-existent. The original reservation that I placed about a month in advance wasn't available at the requested time or location. I planned this timeline very carefully as I was having to operate around my military orders and the timeline that they were ordering me to move on. I was informed that I would receive the $50 guarantee for the delay, but this kind of time and location botching can't be fixed by that measly sum. The time was shifted 3 times by "corporate" and then when the actual pick-up locations were contacted they were either not informed of the changes, or hadn't contacted me, the customer. When I was finally able to track down the proper pickup location, the U-Haul wasn't ready for me to pickup, the extras requested not sorted and ready, nor the vehicle itself being clean. The location also wasn't aware that the U-Haul was to be prepped for my reservation at the time that I was informed by U-Haul "corporate" to show up. The oil light was on, indicating required maintenance, and when brought to the attention of the rental location, I was informed that because I am only going a few hours away, not to worry about it, everything would be fine. Further adding to the mess, upon getting a few miles away, the brake light went on and a blaring alarm went off while I was driving, and the rental company, when made aware of the situation via a phone call, instructed me to take of my time and bring the vehicle to another U-Haul center in town and that they would know what to do. The delayed pickup being moved from 0700 to 1300 resulted in 48 hours of chaos for me, my wife and my 7 month old baby girl. I don't know if I will be using U-Haul again for any future moves; this experience has forever altered my desire to choose to move with this company ever again. At a price tag of $450 for a move of this size, I expected better.

Inspection before someone purchase the rental. Truck was not inspected before I picked it up, tires were worn and when I asked would they make it 1300+ miles my reply was yeah you won't have any problems with it. The truck itself ran fine the whole way , My issue it with rear dual tires both sides. Left Leesville, LA. By the time I made it too Bela Vista, AR. The rear four were smoth, down past wear marks, then I hit some snow . Sat in MO. after talking to u haul ,was transferred to other line and let it ring for almost two hours ! Then said screw this and rolled the rest of the way. Made it but dropped truck off at first u haul on this side of river. Never Again...
