The only problem with this location is that it was tight moving around. Not much parking lot space to work around with gas pumps and other store patrons. However, initial experience was terrible. We were to pick up on Elmwood in Columbia was AWFUL. Whomever was suppposed to call us to confirm pick up that morning, never did. We went to the Elmwood location and no one was there. Hours on the door was from 9-5. Not a soul there. There were 2 others waiting to pick up as well. No one would answer the phone number on the door. Do NOT reccommend that location to anyone.

Complicated and conflicting drop off instructions. They did not seem to be aware of the process at all.
Jenson RThis is a multi-use facility (gas, grocery, etc) where U-Haul is a very small side business - manager/owner/worker(?) was not present on site and only spoke via phone regarding pickup. It was obvious that English was not his birth language and it was very hard to understand what he was saying. It was up to me to find the trailer, verify condition and hook it up, so it was good that this was not my first time using one of these flatbed trailers. The way you can improve service for the next customer is to end the contract here and close the location.
Jameson RThe person who was taking my order was very unprofessional and had a very limited knowledge of their job. I had to continually repeat information that I knew was correct and had been uploaded several times and for approximately 15 minutes until the rep finally decided to get help and call me back. As if moving wasn't stressful enough I really didn't need him to add to it.
