How U-Haul Reviews WorkVery unprofessional. You are doing the transaction for pickup and return with a somewhat clueless convenience store cashier and with some unseen mystery person at the other end of a phone call. I have NEVER had to do all that in several instances where I have rented trucks with Uhaul. My reservation also included an appliance dolly, which they did not have. They did have a regular dolly and I used my own straps to make it work. Next time I want a real U-haul location to work with. Otherwise, the truck was fine, the move went okay, and the STRONG AC in the truck was excellent.
Jim CThis was all very confusing, my location of pick up kept changing I had to call several times because I would make the reservation for the Lexington location then I would get a email stating that it was somewhere else. I had to call and be put on hold 4x which was very time consuming. I had to actually go to the location to be sure the trailer was there. The man in the Quick stop was no help at all he just kept telling be to call a phone number he had written on the counter. It was pouring rain and I just wanted to know if the trailer was in the lot and where? He told me to go out to the lot and look that he had nothing to do with the trailers. I was told the price would be 24.95 and was charged 29.95. There was on person that was very helpful when I called, he looked everything up and helped to change the location back to what it was supposed to be. There was another person on the phone a female that was no help at all and just kept telling me that she didn't see any other location for the trailer. Which was not true at all because when I called back the other man found it in the location in Lexington that I wanted! Then no one could figure out how I could pay my invoice! I was on the phone several times talked to several people, and no one could figure it out. The whole process was very frustrating!
Richard kBetter maintained truck, it loped around 35 mph, lurching forward, bouncing up and down violently. I don’t know if that was the engine/transmission or maybe just a bad tire. Also, the clerk pointed me to as phone number I had to call to complete check in, I don’t want to do that, I want to check in with the person in front of me, that back and forth was ridiculous.
