Truck had problems with passenger door latch and my moving help, reserved via UHaul website, never contacted me or showed up. I was forced to pay 50% more for same day moving help. As the UHaul location was closed, I had no one local to contact. The moving help service provides no live customer service, so I had no help with the absent movers (who contacted me later in the day to say they never received the reservation, even though it apoears on my account). The move took place, but overall it was not a goid experience.

Not sure how this happened, the day after I rented the trailer is was traveling on highway 77 north bound and the empty trailer came off the hitch. Which violently thrashed about the road and just about flipped my vehicle. I was not a happy customer, I called the rental at 11:55 but they were already closed. I called roadside assistance but a Good Samaritan stopped and helped by lower the brake lever and I took off. No visual damage that can see except the wire harness is broken.

Happy customer here!! I’ve never had to do an after hour drop off before, and I missed the memo before dropping off the keys that I had to Check the truck rental back into the system. So I had immediately called (so they able to track the time being of the return) I did call right away to let them know the situation. They said I didn’t have to worry and just call first thing in the morning. I checked my email this morning, Turns out it was already taking care of. I am glad this was taking care of. For future reference I know the procedure! Thank you!

My original reservation was to pick the vehicle up at a different location using my phone. That experience was a disaster and the person I dealt with during my mobile check-in was rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend anybody using mobile check-in

we needed a second truck in a hurry, They found me one at this location and was in and out of there in no time. They were friendly and check in was a breeze. I thought the price was very good also.

Working with uhaul was the worst service I’ve ever had! If there was another company available I would have went with them even if it cost 3x more. My original location was over booked and far from my destination . The gas station worker called traffic for a resolution and they laughed and said I’ll have to just wait. I was then delayed an hour in my moving schedule. I finally got a truck from Docs auto who provided a 4 star service. Calling to ensure my truck was check in was also a shitty experience. After waiting 15 minutes for customer service someone answered. She asked what I needed and my name to then start talking to someone else in the background and then just put me on hold abruptly. After an additional 15 minutes someone else finally helped me. So in the future uhaul can fire whoever is in charge of customer service because it’s terrible.

Overall, things were good. I was charged for insurance without being asking first and I'm pretty sure that they've asked in the past. They also messed up my bill, which was fixed but it was frustrating getting charged basically double initially.

I rented a car dolly. The 'demonstrator' could not get the ramps to to release and recommended I have someone 'help' me. I am 5'2" 125 lbs & if the spring clips had been properly lubricated (or even correctly 'demonstrated' by The Ditz this would not have been a problem. Fortunately I am smarter than the average bear so I figured the ramp clip out fairly quickly. Unfortunately The Moron who checked in the equipment failed to check the straps & The Moron who previously rented the dolly left one strap completely jammed. It took me 45 minutes & a sprained finger to get it to release so I could secure the wheels. A call to the 'dealer' for assistance was IGNORED!! Go anywhere else but here!

I didn't have a good experience with dropping the truck off. Needed to close account (which I must've not had one) on a smartphone. I don't have a smart phone, so tried to have my daughter use hers. What a mess. Took 20 minutes trying to figure out the info on-line and then gave up! I called this morning and got things verified with them. The lady was very helpful with that.

An excellent U-Haul dealer, having an excellent facility and a very helpful employee/representative. The initial return location, Muscle Car Restoration or whatever, was closed at 11:00 AM, when shown as being open to 12:00 PM. It was a "dump" having a locked gate. If I had found a lockbox for the contract and ignition key, it would have meant parking on a public street with an unlocked van body containing the moving pads and dollies. Totally unacceptable and another example of U-Haul's general incompetence!

Owner constantly berated front desk employee, made excuses for not having equipment ready when promised, was very arrogant. Did not seem to be overly interested in the UHaul side of the business. Complained about UHaul requiring him to go get equipment, at the cost of having to stop his main business.
