The uhaul i picked up we very dirty throughout, soda spilled in cab, dusty seats and dash, tear in upholstry, dirty inside and out. The gas meter showed different than the check out statement as well as the milage. There wasnt a replacement available so an hour after my scheduled pickup i was finally able to leave with a dirty truck. It was parked in a back lot snug between a dumpster and another truck with a ditch and a fence on the oposing corners. It took about 15 minutes to maneuver out. The people inside the business had an english language barrier which increased frustration a bit. I was charged for 100 miles and used about 50. This was an all around terrible experience. The worst ive ever had with uhaul. I will never use this location again!

Uhaul should do better about rerouting customers across town when a specific location doesn't have a specific truck. 3 minutes from us didn't have trucks so they called and made arrangements to pick it up 20 mins away. We found one 5 mins from our house. But it took 2 different phone calls to make final arrangements. People moving are already stressed out. They don't need extra bullshit on top of it. The lady I spoke to was not helpful since we had to find a uhaul merchant closer on our own. Both guys at the location we super friendly and helpful!
Michael JI would like to express my sincere appreciation for Debbie, the District Assistant Manager at the U-Haul Regional Office. My recent U-Haul experience was extremely difficult, but Debbie turned it around and made the entire process not only achievable, but manageable with dignity, persistence, and care. While I don’t wish to discredit anyone, I must honestly say that the service at this particular location has been consistently underwhelming—this being my second visit with the same representative. The attention to customer needs has not reflected the standard one would hope for. Once I returned home after hours of try to obtain all moving equipment necessary for my move, I called the Regional Office and spoke with Debbie, who was exceptionally understanding and took action. She stepped in and took full ownership of the situation—one that took nearly an entire day to resolve. I was able to witness her dedication and professionalism as she coordinated directly with other U-Haul representatives by phone, ensuring that every detail was handled correctly. Because of her authority and persistence, I was able to move my personal items with all required utilities involved—greatly assisting my moving manager and allowing the process to continue without further delay. Although the equipment was cleaned and appeared well-maintained, I sincerely hope this location will begin taking proactive steps to report and address vehicle maintenance issues, such as low tire pressure, to prevent customers from having to deal with mechanical concerns themselves upon rental. **Thank you, Debbie—you truly made a difference and turned my day around.** Warm regards,

WILLIAM LThe receiver Neil Patel was nice but didn’t want to give his name in case I needed to explain who received the return truck. He wasn’t sure of the extra charge which is where GM Lisa Birch Jones assisted and corrected the error. In the end, he was more compliant and helpful via his manager and GM Lisa.
