Well for starters, don't let customers reserve 24/7 truck rental if the place doesn't do after hours service. I had my original reservation for 5/13 at Elite Automotive, Loveland, CO. The pick up time was 8:00 PM and we started the process before 8. The online pick up wasn't working so had to call customer care. After being on hold for over an hour, we were told that that location did not do after hours truck pick up and asked us to go to another location and that only thing they had available was a cargo van. We went to another location to pick up. The pick up process at another location was a mess too and took us over an hour. So long story short, we got a cargo van after 10:00 PM. UHaul is so incompetent and ridiculous. However, shoutout to the customer care representatives who were trying to help us out through this mess. Please fix your system and don't let customers make after hours pick up reservation if the facility doesn't do that.Tashi V.

On moving day, you guys called me an hour before my husband was going to p/u the 5"8 enclosed trailer, to tell me you had none available and then u canceled my order! My husband had to drive 2 hrs in Co to p/u our trailer and it put us 4 hours behind on an already very stressful move! I would have rented with someone else, but I didn't have that option because u waited an HOUR before p/u to call. On top of all this, I am dealing with the loss of my mother, so now imagine what my stress level was when u called, & u were no help in finding another one. I had to do that myself. I pray you are not my only option the next time I move. I don't EVER write bad reviews, this is the 1st one in all my 45 years. Very unprofessional. Very unhappy. Very disappointed.Mike K.
I want to say Bridget (the lady in the office) took care of me most efficiently and made this trailer renting the easist of all I have ever had. Then she took me to the trailer, hooked it up and checked it all out... if I ever have a chance to use this UHaul dealer, I will most certainly!William N.

We were delayed in our move and had to extend our rental by a day. When we called to make this change we were told they were able to put it through without charging us the additional day, which we thought was unusual. The next day we brought the truck back and, first of all, there wasn't any information clearly posted as to how to return the truck. The agent, Kelli, eventually came out to help us and said we had to pay for fuel even though we returned it with more fuel than was in it when we got it. She said it was because it was not at a 1/4 tank of gas and it would be approximately $28. None of this was explained to us when we picked it up (nothing was explained at all because they were rushing to close) but since it was basically zero difference in cost, I let it go. During this conversation I mentioned the problems we had picking it up and how much was charged to our card and the agent said nothing is charged to our card until we return the truck. Unfortunately, I assumed this meant that the pending charge would be adjusted once we completed checking it back in. The agent then told us our total, which again I assumed to be the final total, and sent us an electronic copy of the receipt. Upon reviewing my bank charges and receipts, it turns out we were not actually credited the $28 for gas upon pick up. We were also charged $36 for gas upon return (this was *not* itemized on the receipt and was simply added to the subtotal without explanation). Plus, we put gas in the truck after we got it. All in all, we spent about $80 on fuel for a truck that was given to us on E. In addition, the additional day was charged to us even though she said it wasn't going to be, plus we had to pay again for the $28 insurance because we extended our rental by one day. Again, this was *not* explained to us when we picked it up because they were more concerned with going home than customer service. In total, we paid $320 to rent a truck for ~40 hours and 50 miles with zero gas in it. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.Tara H.

Customer service rep was very pleasant and helpful. However, the trailer exterior was full of thick, caked-on mud. Interior was clear of debris but floor was very dirty. Also, one of the safety chain hooks was bent and unusable. Chain had to be threaded through my hitch and screwed tight. This required me to carry a wrench and made unhitching very inconvenient.Rene D.

Despite having made a reservation several weeks in advance, our pick-up location was changed 48 hours prior to pick-up. Upon arrival we came to find out that Uhaul had switched out our 14' truck for a 15' van saying that it was a comparable vehicle which it was NOT! The code to the lock box that was provided to us was also incorrect. we ended up having to drive to the nearest Uhaul dealer (two towns over!) to see if they had a truck that we could use morning of. Thankfully they were able to provide us with a 10' truck. This was NOT a good experience!Matt S.
Other than an old rude guy that yelled at me through the closed door for not having a mask (before I entered the building) and then wanting to charge me 40.00 to remove a storage lock - it's a great place. Both ladies I worked with were very nice. Truck was awesome too. It's a good place to rent from.Daniel A.
