The van cargo area smelled a bit funky and could have been hosed down and dried to help with the smell.

reserved on size then got there could NOT accommodate my reservation. Then the found me another but smaller then tried to OVER CHARGE me for my first reservation, Only after I challenged then on the rate they changed it after charging my credit card. I guess if you don't pay attention UHAUL is going to try to take ADVANTAGE of you during a stressful time

The Website states 59 cents a mile for Cargo van. I was charged 89. The 1st van had a crack up half way and It was a 300 mile round trip. So had to return and get another one. 2nd one was DIRTY! I took pictures. Then when I saw the invoice and price on mileage I went back and saw my previous rentals were also more than web stated...Not a very happy customer

The truck I rented wasn't full of fuel. I was always understanding that you had to return it full of fuel. I filled it back up before I returned it. It took thirty dollars of fuel 10 gallons to go twenty miles. I questioned the fact that the truck must not have been full of fuel when I received it. Then they proceeded to tell me that the truck only had 3/4 of a tank of fuel. That was after I had already filled the tank. They should have explained this before I left with the truck and let me know what I was responsible for as the fuel. This being said I do believe that U-Haul is responsible for part of the cost of the fuel if not all of it. Thirty dollars worth of fuel to go twenty miles just isn't right. Just because someone failed to explain things to me.

Hire people with manners. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and horrible to work with. I made a reservation weeks in advance and requested an appliance dolly. When I showed up they said “sorry we don’t have a dolly” and made no effort to work something out. On top of that, I was charged twice. Total pain in the ass and I would not recommend uhaul to anyone.

Make sure when checking out the customer that the staff goes over all the details of the return other than just park it that stall and drop the keys. It had been a while since I had rented and I was unaware of the photos that needed to be taken before dropping the keys. I should have read through everything more thoroughly and my bad that I made the assumption that nothing had changed since my last rental. The staff that checked me out said no more than he thought he needed to, said he would bring my truck up and when he did he hopped out and left the door open and preceded to walk away to talk to another staff member. Not once did he look in my direction or say anything else to me. I've always had such good customer service at the Loves Park location and this was the first time I was disappointed

I ordered a dolley with my order from another location Winnebago. There was no dolley with my order. I had to go clear across town to pick up a Dolley. This was very inconvenient. Winnebago should do a more thorough job.

I pre-registered and yet the store still had to verify and take pictures of my DL and vehicle information. Why does U Haul ask me to do this online if the store is just going to do it over again?

Be sure to share with your staff to greet customers when they enter the premises. Offer to help and find appropriate boxes. If a staff member is confused, be sure they ask for help. We love this location but it seems there has been a change in personnel in the past year and the energy level seems a bit reduced. Perhaps the staff is not as experienced and needs more training?

Back of the cargo van had mud on the floor. Wasn't swept out. Checking it in on return was quick once somebody got to me. They seem to want to sell propane more that rent vans.
