Make sure location opens on time, I understand it was the 1st of the month so more than 2 associates should of been scheduled. So that 1 person can direct customers outside who are returning, trucks were left all over due to lack of space and no direction so ppl were just parking anywhere

My experience was absolutely horrible. I waited for over an hour to pick up the truck after already reserving it and checking-in before hand, which is supposed to save time. There was one person working on a Sunday and the first of the month which is ridiculous! No separate lines for people with and without reservations so the wait time was over an hour for everyone. My truck and dolly I rented were not ready or inspected. The gas was not filled up from the previous person, and they had left piles of dirt that I then had to sweep out. I would NEVER go to this location again and hope no one else does either.

I always say uhual can you use more employee's, at times the wait is long,not the employee's fault ,they got to inspect rental ,full out the forms you should always have atleast three employee's at all times

I slipped on black ice and strained my back. Nothing was done when staff was told by me 4 times about the black ice and how dangerous it is aspecially because it is in font of the door and on the only area to walk. truck was covered in snow and ice. there was no staff or any equipment to remove the snow and ice!!!!no shovel,ice scraper, nothing and no one to help. the truck needed to be cleared of snow and ice, I had already hurt my back on the walkway, so clearing the snow and ice from the hood, windows and roof of cab was miserable, painfull, and beyond fustrating. Uhaul was called to speak with a supervisor waiting 10 mins on hold for nothing, no superviser available. the only staff at the location was a single person whith the flu!!!!absolutely no help at all and spreading the flu by talking and working the desk with customers!!! Again the person was told about the ice but nothing was done. this location is about 7 miles north of Boston, and yet they had no ice melt, shovels, ice scrapers, no one there to clear snow off of vehicles. My back still hurts!!!!!!I asked the staff person if they have any accident /incident reports, she said yes then said no and told me to call u-haul customer service. So I did, waited 20 mins no one came to phone, I am still angry and in pain two days later. I was with a friend and she was shocked and speechless to what was happening. I do not have time for a back injury or the dr. because I am too busy with life to make time for something that should never of happened in the first place. I would of threw down some ice melt for my own safety but they had none, in New England after a snow storm... To have no safety plan is NEGLIGENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Irresponsible, reckless!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have only had one experience with U-Haul before this one from the Lynnway drive in MA. My previous experience was wonderful and made the hard work of moving a lighter burden. In contrast, my last experience was worthy of a Better Business review, was characterized by a gross lack of customer service, and a rude candor I would not expect from a stranger no less a "professional" in an industry with competitors. My issue lies with the team when I picked up the van. The drop-off team was fine. With this past experience, I would recommend consumers following my lead and spend more at a competitor than endorse a company where you are their inconvenience. If anyone at U-Haul cares to find out details, I will be happy to share. With all sincerity, A former customer.
