The van did not have a full tank at pickup. I did fill the tank to avoid making it a issue with staff. Otherwise the staff was very helpful and the rental van was good.

Next time someone makes a reservation in Danvers, keep that reservation in Danvers. Lynn is 26+ miles from our house while Danvers is about 12. However, the man who works in the Lynn location is very pleasant.

Although I was redirected to pick up the vehicle at a nearby city, I feel the associate attending to the customers needs did what he could to support, he (the location ) was understaffed. There were multiple customers who had to be "pointed " to their rentals instead of led to them and set at ease about their agreement. Please don't misunderstand, the associate did well with balancing his resources, however the customer experience suffered.

Know your equipment. The phone representative said that the vehicle had a rear liftgate which is incorrect. Then, when I did not want to truck, I was still charged. Employees should be cleaning off trucks and pulling them out front and going over a visual inspection of the truck before handing keys out.

We use to get great service and clean equipment. The last few months the Equipment is always filthy. We don't get the size we reserve from corporate and get damaged trucks. There is never enough service employees.

I come in and get a pick up once every four to six months. Bills range between $200 TO $700. My order and contact is always marked EMAIL ONLY. I do most of my business in China and come back for the use of the pickup. I give a local number to you so you can make contact with me when I am in the area. When I place the order, I got a confirmation of the order to be picked up in Lynn on the requested day. When I pass the Center in Lynn, there is a pickup sitting on the front row of the parking lot. The same pickup is there every day I pass the lot on the way back and forth on the Lynnway. This time around I order a pickup to be taken from the Lynn Location. In a brain-fart of a move you all call the number and not Email me as requested. I don’t find out till the time I arrive and need to get the truck. I call to find out what’s going on and get a continuous run around. First call to the Salem Center to ask what happened. I also wanted to have an answer why they didn’t email me and explain. They couldn’t tell me. They transfer me to an unanswered phone. Second Call, I call Lynn Center to find out what happened, and am given a basic answer that my truck wasn’t returned. That corporate changed the order. I would have to be transferred to a scheduler. Transfer call goes to Northboro U-Haul Center. Manage was fairly kind and looked at what went on. After a few minutes of getting the facts told me that I had go to the Corporate scheduler to get things taken care of. Transfer the call. Transferred call goes to an U-Haul rental agent. When I had the inquiry of if he could help, I was belittled by the gentleman to be taught that he was not U-Haul but just and agent. I turned to the Website to see what trucks Lynn had and order a pickup truck and it showed every place but Lynn that had one, and showed Lynn having a van. I took the van. It was really simple and I would have taken the option if someone had offer it to me. I was not pleased to be put out of my way at my cost, and at 59 cents a mile expense. You all dropped the ball. From not listening to my request of Emailing me to bouncing me from one place to another, either to get rid of me as a customer or just the lack of training to your employees. I wish the girls that were there, in the past, would return as they had a great view and practice of customer service and look at solving the problems when they had arisen, not just blow off the customer till they left. I hope this is the last of the poor service received.

Compared to other u-haul, this u-haul at 282 Lynn way was terrible.

An accurate receipt should be given when you leave the store. For some reason my contract was lost. Then I was charged for gas when I shouldn't have been charged for it. This isn't good customer service.

The associate was over the top with his customer service, he explained every detail, his levil of service was a ten on a scale of one to ten, this alone will make me a repeat customer and yes I would recommend this location to anyone I know looking to rent moving vehicale.

This was the farthest location from my home.Other closer locations had the same gear but despite calls, I was sent to the furthest location , adding much time to the day. Personnel we're very nice and helpful once I got there.
