I tried using the self check out app. When I arrived the app told me where to find the vehicle except I couldn't find it. I had to go inside and wait in line only to find out that the app incorrectly shows where the vehicles are and the correct area can't be seen from the area shown by the app. When I finally found the vehicle the app told me that it had tried to call my alternate contact but they hadn't answered. Nowhere does the app say that it needs to contact the person before I could take the vehicle. Most alternate contacts are for use only if there is a problem. I was told it was to confirm my identity because apparently a picture of my drivers license and a picture of me weren't enough. I decided to go inside again to finish check in. The clerk brought the vehicle around and checked gas/mileage/etc before turning the vehicle over to me. When I got in the low tire pressure light was on. I had to go back inside and wait in line again to get the problem resolved. I finally was able to use the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle I followed the directions posted - I pulled up to the return area and waited with my vehicle as directed. After waiting about 10 minutes with no one showing up another vehicle pulled up to the front door, the driver went inside and immediately returned with a clerk to check him in. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes despite the fact that a) I followed the directions as posted (and that I've followed multiple times in the past) and b) the clerk should have seen my vehicle was first in line but still chose to serve the other customer first. His reply when I mentioned it to him was, "oh, I didn't see you pull up." Isn't that his job? None of your processes work as stated. The app has bad information and is ridiculously cumbersome to use. Following posted instructions don't result in being served. How long would I have had to wait before someone came out even though I was doing exactly as instructed. I have used this location for more than 5 years. It used to be very well run and efficient. My last 2 experiences have been terrible. I will likely not use this location again.

The young man that checks us in was somewhat short and not really very personable. The sad thing is I think he was a manager. Dark haired young man. Not to confuse him with another young man with longer dark hair...he was great! He was so polite and really is an asset to your company. The first young man...not so much.

From a marketing standpoint, the $19.95 local option is a bit misleading due to the high cost / mile. For a 15 mile trip my actual cost was almost double that.

The after hours instructions to return a truck are so confusing and where do I find wi fi to do all that ... The truck and the people are great . I just had a hard time with the after hours return instructions I remember just always dropping the key . I bought insurance for any problems , I tried to do all that stuff you wanted and I could not even log on to a account so confusing . I recommend having a over age 40 check out for people that can not figure out all this high tech stuff

Booked a 6.30am pick-up, attempted to collect equipment through the App. After completing all of the initial steps on the App, messaged back that equipment had not been allocated and provided a number to call. Had to wait for an associate to help me on or around 7.00am. Consolation was that I had not planned for an earlier pick-up... Suggest that if U-Haul is going to embrace technology for such transactions - that the company ensure that all aspects of the process work...

Not an issue with the location but the policy to only allow for one night rentals until Wednesday before your rental is very frustrating.
