Seemed understaffed when I arrived. Both to start rental and on the turn in. Had to wait both times. So things went slowly. However, staff was friendly and courteous and did their job.

This is the ideal Uhaul location. Excellent and knowledgeable experienced customer representatives. Short lines. Clean. Someone actually held the door open for me! No stinky smokers smoking a joint in front of their stores while spraying GMO poisons (weedkillers) on the entrances in front of the customers/kids/pets... as in another shop I had visited.

Overall the service would of been excellent but there was only one person checking a line of customers in on a busy Saturday Morning. No fault of his, he did an amazing job going back and forth but many folks left because the wait was too long and I registered over the website to speed things up and still had to wait forever. If I was a walk in with no reservations I would have left. Reflections on management of the store and scheduling.

The truck was in pretty rough shape however it was clean. It was 2005 GMC Topkick 155k on it a it would shake really bad at highway speeds. The location and the Staff were great and very friendly.

Teach the cashier some manners she was very rude And get better help I waited like 20 minutes to return my rental the guy was cleaning his personal vehicle while I waited

Nicholas Darden was very rude and unhelpful. He basically told me that reservations are meaningless as there is no guarantee that we will have your truck. Overall my entire uhaul experience was a disaster. To be told the night before that the only truck available is 25 south of my 3.5 hours drive and instead of my 10" truck they only have a 10"' truck. To top it off, Uhaul miscalculated the extra mileage and Mr. Darden said I agreed to whatever mileage they gave me and would send my $5.28 extra mileage charge to collections. What service. Never again!!!!!

Made a on line reservation in Springfield location for a 26’ truck in town. They did not have one. Manassas call and told me they would honor the in town price if I pick the truck up in Manassas. That didn’t happen had to go out of my way for the truck and pay more because they didn’t have a truck in the Springfield location. So much for on line reservations

I rented a unit for two months and no problems there. Major problem in renting a truck. I reserved a 26 foot truck a week aheasd of time for 4/29/18 (a Sunday) on Saturday the 28th I get a call in the afternoon saying there is no truck available in Manassas Park but Lorton would have one at 2 PM. I was pissed. I went to the Manassas Park location to get more boxes and such and the girl tells me that " Yeah we have three trucks available, would you like. You just have to return it here." But she debited my account for $315.90. When I had originally reserved the truck I was told $140 plus $40 for an extra day if needed and $0.45 per mile. I was pissed again. Extremely pissed. When I returned the truck the guy handling me brought it down to $225.00. Which was more in alignment with the original contract. It felt like double dealing and left a bad impression. Why didn't whoever called me on the 28th know that there were trucks available? Don't like having my blood pressure raised in this manner. Somebody screwed up.

We arrived at this location to pick up a U Haul van for thr 24/7 service pick up. However, the system was not working and because it was closing time, the employees did not want to assist us. They were rude and dismissive. However, one employee, Nicholas Darden, went out of his way to try to get us set up with our van. When the online system/app would not work, he reopened the store for us so that he himself could check us out. He went above and beyond and help us out when no one else would. He did not make us feel like we were inconveniencing him and we really appreciated his help! If he had not been at the store, it may have taken hours for us to finally get our van. Thank you Nick!

They did not point out that there will be a $30 fee for refueling when I was checking out the vehicle. I specifically asked for the cost. She only shown me $4 per gallon charge. Either she was new or clueless about U-haul policies as she kept asking the other guy all type of questions throughout the process. I only had 36 miles to do so I assumed based on her misguided information, I will be charged only for gas, otherwise I would put the gas myself before returning the vehicle.

I did the online check out but still had to wait in line to get the keys. Also after preinspecting the truck the employee switched vehicles and I had to do another inspection. Online check out is worthless.
