those ford vans are terrible to drive when not loaded with weight-plus they over rev- when given the gas. small local work fine for the average driver- but long distance driving would make the average driver have a hard time--- most over steer-ers would fishtail a lot...

First manager at the location treated me like crap was trying to charge me more than what I was quoted when I booked the appointment they told me the motorcycle carrier came with straps I specifically ass come to find out he said it didn't and he quote on quote said I would not give you straps I did not want straps to keep I wanted to borrow them because the girl told me that so I had to go buy my own straps causing me to get late to my destination to pick up the motorcycle I was so I definitely would not recommend this place or him as a manager I'm in management and I would never talk to a customer like that and I would try to satisfy their needs especially when somebody told them this was standard with the order

Customer in front had credit card problems. Had to wait 15 minutes while another associate sat next door by the other register. Should have helped me check out. I had an appointment and was on time.

I tried using the mobile app to pick up the truck. The truck was not parked where the app told me it was. And the app got stuck while waiting for it to review my pics I submitted of face and drivers licence. So I eventually had to go inside the office...where she was able to help me with no issues.

My wife and I were notified less than 24 hours before needing the truck that the one we'd requested wasn't available and we'd be getting a smaller truck. We had submitted our online request nearly 20 days in advance. We understood that we may not get the exact size requested, but U-Haul had plenty of time to find us the truck we wanted or, at the very least, notify us in advance that we wouldn’t be getting the exact size. What if we’d needed every inch? Also in our online request, we reserved multiple moving blankets as well as selected a specific drop-off location and time. Upon arrival, there was not a single blanket available at the location and the drop-off location and time that appeared in the system was completely wrong. The two boys that “assisted” my wife and I claimed they could change nothing without a supervisor present (who was not around) and were extremely apathetic and unprofessional, using their phones while we stood there. When I reiterated to them that we were going to need the truck for additional miles and time than what were listed, we were told that “the miles don’t really matter” and we wouldn’t be charged any differently. Besides explaining that the gas needed to be at ¼ upon drop-off, there was no explanation as to how the truck operated, which gas it needed, or that I should take photos of the truck prior to departure to free us of any responsibility if damage was done by a future driver. One of them said they’d change the drop-off information in the system, but didn’t give us a printout claiming as much. Moreover, the radio in the truck was broken. My wife and I tried calling the corporate customer service number in an effort to rectify some of this, but it felt like we were an inconvenience. The woman (who was pleasant) told us that “she’d try to get the drop-off time pushed back,” clearly not understanding that under no circumstances would the truck be returned until our stuff was out of it; not to mention that apparently it didn’t matter if we got the truck we requested, so why would they care about the next guy in line? Never once did a representative alleviate any of our stress, or even compensate us for the $3 mattress bag we purchased at the store. This experience was unacceptable. Period.

The truck was very clean and good to go. The online check in didn't end up saving time as I still had to wait in line to get a key, however, that is not the end of the world. I was a little disappointed in getting charged for an entire extra day when the truck was brought back less than an hour late.

I had a reservation for a 26 ft truck reserved for 12 noon. I got to the store and they had changed my reservation to a 17ft truck to pick up at 530. I was told an email went out at last minute because they could not get truck, but really? I am moving I cut off my internet and can't access my email. I got to store they did not seem to care. They need to understand that when you change a reservation it can affect a person. I had to be out of my apartment within 4 hours and because my truck was late pickup and small I had to make multiple trips which in the end cost me more money. The assistant manager seems cold and un caring. I was crying because I was so frustrated and sat on the phone with uhaul customer service for 24 minutes and transferred to different departments 6 times to figure out why my reservation was changed to only in the end be told next time you make a reservation try not to on a weekend or make sure you rent very far out. Really? How is this my fault.. I tried to speak with the manager to see if anything else was in the area and she started talking to the customer next to me. I was so frustrated and very disappointed. Never again. If you want to rent make sure your reservation does not change last minute.

Be prepared. Don't change my pickup location without notice Have the pads I reserved on site. I reserved 2 dozen pads and they only had 4. Also, I called the location to see if I could pay over the phone. I was told yes. Then I sent my mother to pick up the Uhaul. The reservation was cancelled, put in her name, and SHE had to pay as you guys declined to take my card over the phone when she was at your location in Manchester.

Very professional to me.. However, the couple that came in next to me had a different experience ; wrong size truck, and no blankets. They wanted a credit but no one was there that could make that decision. Bad move. If I based my future decisions based upon what I observed today and how that was handled I would have given your store an "F" and go to another store.i feel pretty confident that will probably be posted online, like yelp. You should allow your staff to make a decision up to $50-$75.00 or have your Manager or assistant Mgr be available to take calls when neither manager is in the store and approve of a credit. This was all so unnecessary. Moving is stressful enough and then to have your staff not be able to make it right is poor customer service.
