Uppon reloading equipment after a Christmas Concert, the lift gate was caught and would not close. We had to unload equipment and leave at the concert site. We returned the trailer to rental agency. On Monday morning, we retrieved equipment by other means. Lift gate has gotten stuck on two rentals. Recommend a stop be placed on the lift gates to keep them from riding too high and getting stick.

The truck was old and breaking and couldn't have been rented to name a cross country move. Truck was leaking fluid, the check engine light came on and the truck had very bumpy suspension

I requested to update my predicted mileage and rental time when my plans changed just before my pickup time for my one way rental. The clerk told me I could sort it all out when I return it. He said my card would not be charged until I turn it in. The charges would be adjusted at that time. When I turned it in, the receiving clerk told me that the pickup clerk was wrong. I was charged for two days of rental and an estimated 130 miles of travel. I only had the truck for six hours and traveled only 93 miles, but I was charged nearly $300 (see additional comments under Drop Off Location). I have contacted my bank to dispute the charges.

The lady was very rude. I told her the situation with the hispanic not putting the correct return day. She charged me anyway. I will instruct my credit card company to not pay.



I have a question.... I rented a tow dolly here in Bath, New York, and it cost me$285 + rental fee. The same equipment in Marble Falls, Texas cost $130 or close to it. Why the big difference ?

There is no signage to indicate where the Haul turn-in place is. Even if you had noted the address as above, "Third Coast NAPA" store that would help. I drove by the location 3 times before I spotted the Haul equipment behind the NAPA Store. Again your corporate help failed as I was told to drop it off in Kingsland and that site had a sign in the window they were no longer a U-Haul store although there were trucks and trailers all over the place. A call to your 800 number at 7:15 PM indicated that your lines were closed down at 7:00 PM and to call back the next day. I'm not sure what time-zone they were in. I assume most people move on the weekends and don't finish unloading until late in the day. The agent at the turn in point was courteous and friendly as were the folks where I picked up the equipment. You need to make your website easier to work with and get some CS people on the phone that have a better understanding of your locations.

This was the worst service ever!! I waited for over one hour to drop off the truck one one attendant could help and he was at lunch when he returned he stated they make all their money on selling auto parts and not on U-Haul. wanted to change me for additional time because he was at lunch and when i refused he stated that I did not fill up the tank full enough so it resulted in a $39.00 additional fee which I also refused but I saw the charge appear on my American Express online statement.

All Season Storage was the original drop-off but they never answered or were open. Third Coast NAPA were great and the personnel were very helpful.

Check the equipment to see if clean before client pick-up. The back of the truck did not look like it was swept in months. The wheels need to be aligned. The windshield wipers screeched the whole time.
