I was over charged. Did not use the 50 miles I originally paid for and not refunded. Believe this should be fixed

Great Customer Service and great Truck.

The lady we dealt with when we picked up was horrible. Rented us a truck that was in the back of the rest of the trucks. She made us move the trucks to get to the one she rented to us because it was on the receipt. She didn't pull up my reservation to see my ordered equipment and didn't make sure the hand dolly we reserved was in the truck. We had to come back in a seperate trip to get the the hand truck. They didnt have the hand truck We wanted in my reservation so she charged me more for the one they had available. She was holding a conversation on her phone the whole time she was 'helping' us. Drop off was totally different. The lady there was nice, paid attention to us and made it painless!

This location apparently had no one available to assist us in hooking up the trailer. I have towed before, so that was not critical; however if this was someone's first time, they would have received no help. There was no inspection of the towing vehicle as stated would be done in the U Haul material; there was nothing except signing the papers and out the door. No help was offered.

People were panhandling for moving help outside of this uhual location. I also wouldnt recommend leaving your personal vehicle at this location either. Very unsafe location.

Learn or update your valid drop-off locations. Original drop off confirmation brought me to some unknown location that was not a u-haul drop-off but a Penske drop off location instead. Yet u-haul claims they could charge you extra if you dropped off at other location other than what was confirmed to you via email. Where’s my compensation from going to that one location only to discover it was no longer a valid drop off point, and then later instructed to another location (Hampton Chevron) after a phone call to u-haul? Which, by-the-way was my original requested drop off. How and why the email changed all that, who the hell knows. Room for Improvements would be to have your area district manager to go around and reevaluate your drop off points. Who knows how many more locations are no longer in existence.

My pickup was supposed to be in Locust Grove. The location was moved to McDonough which added 18 miles more to my round trip. Extra money I had to spend. Not very happy!

Trailer was dirty at pick up, with trash inside. The dolly I reserved was not available. Staff was unconcerned and generally unhelpful.

I got charged twice

Customer service was horrible so to the delay in picking up the Uhaul. I had to wait for a while to even get the process started to get the truck. This location should have a more depended system to serve customers conveniently.

I was charged 188 additional dollars because i dropped off trailer at a different location from pickup. I was told at pickup location that I would be able to drop the trailer off anywhere in the US

I came to this location because I had a reservation at Memorial Dr and drove an hour to get there and find I had no truck. I had to pay men I hired. Said truck available in McDonough and per mile rate would be less and we would get $50 because no truck for the reservation at Memorial Drive. In McDonough told story and only small truck available and no change in rate. Attendant could not find keys for more than an hour while I waited and when found did not adjust the rental time. We had no men to help load the large items because there was no truck the previous day. Had smaller truck and no men so had to make more trips. Guy there tried to hustle us to use him and friends to load truck. Extremely high rate we could not afford so we declined and he gave such a sob story my husband gave him a little money. Returned the truck and told to keep it at no charge and return before 3:00, returned at 1:00 and charged for additional use. It never ended for me. This U-Haul truck has cost me a small fortune. Someone help!

Nice and helpful and even filled the tank for me

I personally had to move a 4 wheel car hauler to get the one I leased. They didn't tell me what time I had to return the tow dolly. So i got charge for a extra day

Simpley horrendous, they need to get to know what theyre doing! Pick up was okay. You have two lines right, yet to stay in the “U-Haul” side and the conveyance store line gets attended so I moved to that line to get attended and went right back to the U-Haul line. Mined, the lines are five feet apart fully visible through the desk glass. And this was really it for pick up. Now drop off was the complete disaster. I arrive, and theres a sign on the door “restroom break back in 5 min”. I waited, and waited and waited some more, and twenty minutes later nothing, so I decided to drop the keys in the box which I hate doing. I go buy some items at a store down the road, headed home I pass through the Chevron saw the lights on and decided to stop in. I tell the kid, it was to get the receipt for a drop off and he tells me it’ll be a minute. Okay.... I see you got people flooding the store, and I’m a customer as well right? One again I wait, wait and wait some more. The kid is doing a million things while texting on his phone. Dam phone appeared to be glued to his dam hand. After a while I go to the glass again and he’s like “ohh yeah” and goes to the U-Haul side, does something on the computer and goes back to the other line. I wait some more time, he goes to the computer, goes get the key out of the box, checks the truck and comes back and goes to the other other line. To make a long story short the back and forth goes on for like two more times before me just going to the glass and say “I want my receipt”. He looks at me and goes to the computer, says it $119. I’m like WHAT? It was sixty something. The kid says, the truck is 79 and the miles. I’m like the truck is 39 and I went 4 miles, ask the truck odometer. He then says “ohh I see, it’s charging you due to late drop off” and I lost it. Went off telling home that not my fualt due to your extended bathroom break and I’ve been here for an hour. He then made the changes and ended with the sixty something charge and then had to wait for the dam receipt because he went back to the other line. After waiting a bit, just says it’ll be emailed to you........ STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, after a moving day you defiantly don’t want to end your day with this crap!

The wipers did not work on the vehicle nor was it clean. Also, the Chevron gas station staff is not friendly and it took a very long to return the vehicle due to a slow internet connection. The cashier Nick also had to keep pausing to help every other customer who walked in without completing my transaction first

I put in a call to customer service and its in review. They rented me a pickup truck which I specifically told them I needed a autotransport with. They had an autotransport on site it was abailable per your 1800 number. Then they told me to go around to next uhaul to rent transport. The truck they rented did not have to ball for transport. Told me after I rented truck and went a mile to other location. So I went back to ask for the locking ball they tell me I have to go buy one. Now this after spending 1 hour in their location. Its a convenient store. They had about 6 uhaul customers just standing and waiting for over an hour. Then the manager was rude and told me if I wanted a refund to take it up with customer service not him. I was fine with paying for mileage only went 2 miles but you charge me for a useless rental that you fidnt inform me about until after I pull off your lot.

Have the inside of the truck a little cleaner

You need to be truthful to customers when they come to rent truck at your outlet, this site with their client was not. Keeping customers for three or four hours and ripping them off their hard earned money is not fair. I came to rent from this outlet and was told i had to get a truck for just four hours instead of allowing me to rent it for the whole day after waiting for four hours. Behold, i still brought back the truck back at the right time and told i had to pay for a whole. I would have utilized the truck for the 24 hours and completed my task with the truck, but was made to bring it back and was still charged for a whole day. The staff were rude and inconsiderate. I hope this does not happen to another customer because it was a reap off. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO THAT OUTLET or go there again. I advise people not to go to that outlets,(Hampton Chevron 840 Hampton Rd McDonough, GA 30253) but should go to the U-haul office instead. It doesn't matter the distance, it's better at the real office.BAD EXPERIENCE FOR ME

Need more staff to serve. The one employee was working the cash register and UHaul service. She did an awesome job but I felt bad for her because she was going back and forth as the line got longer. It’s always a good practice to have more than one employee on duty.
