Maintain the equipment better. They gave me a unit with bad tires. Then had a blowout going down the road. Had to wait 3.5 for a tire service to repair the tire. I want my money back.

Trucks that are reserved should be ready, cleaned and maintained. Briefly review the terms of the contract with the customer, do not assume that everyone has rented a truck in the past.

The people at this location are rude, and Manager Chris Parker has not called me back yet, to tend to my concern. The worker hung up on me repeatedly when I called 901-332-6603.

This location on Shelby Dr, Has the most illiterate, workers. I made my reservation online, to rent truck from 7am-1pm. I have email to prove it I called to let U haul know I was on my way to bring truck back because I was running a few minutes late, but my receipt had it was due to next morning, they said they didn't have any operators in Memphis to answer my question. So when I got to uhaul around 2pm to return the truck a nice young man with dreads said, he didn't even see were I rented a truck from them. So I gave him my receipt he said I have no idea what she did, therefore I don't know how to charge you, mind you I put up $148.00 cash, I know I should have received at least $50.00 back for a 7 hour rental, with less than 35.00 miles, the young man told me that the manager was on lunch and he promised he would fix it. I called manager's cell phone, he told me to call back Monday on the 4th of July, I called back Monday, left several messages, he never called back it seemed as if he was sending call to answering service, I called, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday leaving a voicemail. When I call the location they would put me on hold, I kept calling back , 2 young ladies would put my on hold then pick back up and hand up. So I called back from another number they pick up, by this time I am made because, and the young lady said you don't have to scream ( REALLY) talking normal doesn't get me anywhere, they lack patient to handle any customer service concerns , I asked why did I just receive an email stating that I owe an additional $103.00, she said because you returned it to another location, I said mam look at your camera, I turned it back in to you all the same day, she said hold on never came back. I then call back they didn't answer if course. Called the manager cell phone and told him that he was a coward, that should not be in management. I know that sounds harsh but not only was i treated harsh, but they have over charged me and not willing to correct it.

I was completely satisfied. Your agent Chris P.(last name initial) was excellent. I was tired and dreaded the moving process, with his energetic and pleasant and smiling demeanor made me calm and at ease. You need more Customer Service Agent like him. This was my second time renting from this location and I don't remembered being at ease or calm as I did on this day. I work in the hospital and we strive on our customer service satisfaction for our patient care with our first presence of how we greet our patients. Our attitudes towards them makes them returning patients. With this being said you need more agents like Chris! It was truly my honor. Thanks!

The truck would not start after shutting off. Had to hold the battery cable each time to get it started, and it would not tighten, good thing it wasn't someone less competent that rented this truck.

I usually use budget and now I know why. I rented these trucks to be picked up at Mendenhall store which is right around the corner from my home. I was assured that they were there and I would be good to go. Well I got a call around 5:30 saying that 1 of my trucks was never there. I had to drive almost 20 miles to a store on Shelby drive. That's 20 miles to pick up the trucks and 20 miles back to load all of my equipment. Then 20 miles on each truck to return them . This is ludicrous plus it made me late a whole hour. Then I was rented a truck that ran so bad that it used over $100 worth of gas to go to Jackson Tn. I have been trying to talk to the manger Chris Parker but he don't even show a customer common courtesy of returning a call. Then there is some smart mouth girl in there relaying Chris's messages. What a awful way to run a business.

Expect to have to connect the trailer by yourself and if it's summer expect to sweat for about an hour before you truly get on the road.
