The location of picking up and returning doesn’t operate on its supposed to operating hour, four times of me calling the location at its operating hour nobody pick up, pick up of the vehicle has been delayed for over half an hour, due to the pick up location is closed with the metal curtain down
yiran SNo one was at the location and I had to wait 45 minutes after I showed up to get a key. I was lucky I got the key because no one ever showed up, but it happened to be in the unsecured mailbox by luck. I also requested two moving hand trucks /dollies and neither were in there. 0 stars
Vivian ANo one was present at the facility at the time of pick up. After waiting, I finally got my van. They had no carts or equipment to rent. The big issues were with the car, however. It did not lock! None of the doors locked, neither with the fob nor the button inside. Also, it kept saying the back doors were open despite them being firmly closed. The notification light never went off. The gas cap also would not allow me to fill up gas. I felt completely unsafe driving and placing my stuff in this vehicle. I also went to return the van early during store hours but once again, no one was there.
Gabe GI scheduled a pick up for a van at the listed opening time for the location. I arrived and waited. Upon searching, I noticed the opening time for this location varies site to site. 40 minutes after the time I booked (and U-Haul site said to book at) they opened. The person who opened had to FaceTime an associate to tell him how to give me the keys. The associate on the FaceTime was unkind to him and unprofessional. I felt bad for the man, who clearly did not know what he would be walking into. The truck I received had an alert that there was a problem with the brake. The left turn signal did not work. There was half a tank of gas. There was trash from the person before me. The customer service on the phone was kind, but could not help me with my problem. The online customer service was curt and unhelpful. I do not write reviews often, let alone poor ones, but this experience was harrowing. Do not book at this location. And U-Haul please refund me as I missed my mover’s time window and almost got in a wreck because people did not see I was turning.
