I was very upset that I was charged $7 dolly rental despite never using the dolly. The agent pointed out that the "seal was broken"....... first of all, I wasn't present during the inspection and was only made aware when I questioned why the charge was higher than expected. (So i have no way to verify if the seal was broken BEFORE the agent inspected it). Second, IF THE SEAL was broken during loading or unloading, it happened because of the placement of the dolly at the very front of the back door. Obviously in loading and unloading the dolly could easily be bumped given its positioning. I will be disputing this $7 charge both with Uhaul customer service and with my credit card company

One of the worst experiences with U-Haul I have ever had. I have moved many times and the way we were treated by the staff at 1000 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL was absolutely unacceptable. I rented a van for three hours (noon to 3PM on June 23) to move two pieces of furniture and was personally with the vehicle at all times. We went through the inspection and were told that everything was perfectly OK. About 20 minutes later, they called to say that we had damaged a mirror and they charged my card for over $200 and voided the contract. We absolutely did not damage anything and no inspector at U-Haul should let someone go saying there is no damage and then be able to call back later and accuse them of damages. I will never use U-Haul again. On top of everything, I talked to the inspector on the phone who told us everything was OK when we dropped the van off and he was very rude and cursed at me. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that he wasn't available and they still charged my card. In my opinion, this is absolutely a ploy to make extra money and take advantage of customers. AWFUL

I've rented plenty of uhaus during the years and except for the ac on the truck. Not functioning and the facility attempting to charge me a cleaning fee for dust and the employee attempting to tell me were suppose to hose off the truck everything was great

This is a really solid Uhaul location. Well managed. The only recommendation would be to have a few more agents checking people in at the desks during peak hours like morning picks when they open since the line was quite long and only one person was working the desk. Staff was very friendly and professional. The entire process was easy!

Have proper parts available it was recorded in reservation EXACTLY which vehicle would be towing and yet there were no connection for lights I had to drive home at 6 pmin rush hour traffic WITHOUT TURN SIGNALS OR BRAKE LIGHTS went to 36 st uhaul the next morning and THEY TOO DID NOT HAVE PART ON HAND!! But they kindly hooked it up with a wire so that I could complete my move

I was not explained that I had to return the van at an specific time and I showed up about two hours later due to heavy raining and time trying to find a gas station in the area. I explained and they charged an extra day for the van and the trolley.

So much to comment from staff to issues that ended up costing me additional hours. There was a crane on site when I got there which made it impossible to empty my unit. Besides that your elevator is a complete joke!!! Takes FOREVERRRRRRRR!!!!!!! Additionally, I was moving my stuff alone and the loading ramp is also not so user friendly. My cart fell off the loading dock THREE TIMES!!! One of those times damaging some very expensive and one of a kind lamps!!!! Overall horrible experience and zero regard by your staff for my wasted time!!! I've been a customer for over TWENTY YEARS.

When I walked into the store I was standing there without anyone greeting me for 5+ minutes even though employees were visible. The truck I received gas was below empty so felt uncomfortable and had to go directly to gas station hoping I would make it.

The customer service was below average. They were not interested in making this a pleasurable experience for the customer. I understand why they have less than two stars on yelp and other review sites. On returning the car, we had to wait for one of the employees to come collect the key. No one could find him for about five minutes. Moreover none of his co-workers knew where he was. Then he shows up with food in his hand. He apparently had left to go grab food unbeknownst to anyone. I called to extend the rental time and was placed on a 10-15 minute hold, only to be told that that "wasn't allowed". There was no explanation of fees related to a late return or anything. I had to probe the employee to understand my options and ultimately decided to hurry so I could return the car on time. Again this location does not value its customers and does not aim to make this a great experience. I will not be using them again nor will I be suggesting them to anyone else.

I reserved a hand-truck. When I arrived, they told me there were none to be rented, though they had six new ones in the showroom, apparently for purchase. The truck, though new, had it's engine light on the entire day. Service was slow.
