Originally booked for pickup in Sault Ste.Marie ontario, but uhaul changed location as truck and trailer wasn't available so had to do a 5 hour round trip to get equipment. The the trailer was delivered late from Sudbury and had to wait 2 extra hours for it to arrive! So all total ended up spending 7 hours to get truck and trailer.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI booked my truck 25 days in advance, expecting a smooth and reliable moving experience. Unfortunately, despite having a confirmed reservation, U-Haul was unable to provide the truck at the original pickup location. I was transferred between multiple customer service representatives and spent a considerable amount of time trying to resolve the issue. The replacement truck was over 165 km away, and the unexpected change delayed my move by approximately 6 hours before I could even begin loading. U-Haul eventually offered a $150 discount, one additional rental day, and 156 free miles. While I appreciate the effort to resolve the situation, I was unable to use the additional 156 free miles, so they provided little practical value. The relocation of the pickup location still resulted in significant inconvenience, additional fuel costs, lost time, and unnecessary stress on an already demanding moving day. For a reservation made 25 days in advance, this outcome was extremely disappointing. I hope U-Haul improves its reservation management, communication, and customer service so future customers do not experience the same disruption.

Susan SWe called the number clearly written on the front of the building (so big that we didn’t even need to get out of our vehicle which was nice) as we returned the key in the drop box not knowing we were supposed to take photos of the interior when returning the truck. The owner (we are assuming) drove down from the living quarters on the hill above to retrieve it for us. We could tell he had been settled in for the night but he still accommodated us. We so appreciated that!!
