Have all uhaul rental trucks full of fuel before leaving the rental loaction. Then have a policy in place to have rental vehicle full of fuel before returning it back.

I put on my order I needed a utility dolley, regular dolley, and a furniture dolley, and pads. I (finally) got the truck using the self checkout and non of the extras were in the truck and the location was closed. So I had to buy pads else where and go rent the dollys from home depot. Wasted time and money.
Angela MReservatios made over a month before to pickup at another location. Truck and trailer I requested was not available. Associate I talked to on phone was able to locate what I needed after 1 hr on phone plus I had to pickup over 20 min away from the original location. Would recommend calling a few days before to get the equipment to a location closer to you. On a good note: truck and trailer was new for my trip over 2000 miles. Both worked great !
