Paul GThe tank had 1/4 tank of gas and not 3/8 as stated on rental agreement. This was corrected by a comment written on the paper by the rental person, although I was told it could be a possible charge to me at return. Also, there was damage to the driver side of the truck, which I fortunately took a Pic of before I moved the truck from the lot. When I returned the truck, I showed the UHaul employee and he said that should have been marked and noted by the renter. If I did not have pictures, I would have been charged. Also found a cigarette butt under the seat and when I flipped down the center seat to use the console/cup holders, it was covered in brown sticky residue like a soda or something was spilled and never cleaned. After this experience, it is unlikely that I would rent from U Haul again.
KEVIN HThe guy yelled at me when he saw me and said “you don’t have a reservation here.” And I said, “yes I do.” And he said, “ I don’t care what your email says, I’m telling you that you don’t.” And when he finally looked in his computer, he saw that I was correct, yet he failed to apologize. Also, I filled the tank to where it needed to be based on the agreement and he charged me for 2 gallons of gas, which I need to have refunded. I use U-Haul all of the time, but maybe now I won’t.
