Let renters know that the City of Milwaukee does not allow the U-Haul to be parked on the street overnight. I almost got a ticket because I didn’t know this fact. Also, the truck I had had probably the worst transmission I’ve driven in my whole life—maintain it!!!

Store manager was not very friendly..quite rude actually..called with trouble regarding the vehicle and all he continues to repeat was ma'am, ma'am, ma'am. He spoke over me.and would not even respond to my concerns. My actual sales guy was better..not the best either..At least he met us outside. The vehicle was very poor. The drivers side visor was distracting my vision so it was actually hanging i have photos..

I reserved a truck for 24 hours. Pickup process was fine. Truck was clean and enjoyable to drive. While using the truck I realized I needed it for a longer time than the 24 hour rental. I called to make an extension. I at first called the store I rented the truck from. They gave me a 1-800 number and explained to call that since it was one of their busiest times of the year. I called and talked to a man there and he explained he couldn’t move the time out. I told him that I wouldn’t have the keys to my new apartment before the truck rental was over. He put me on hold again. When he came back on the line he asked me if I’d be ok with paying $37 in additional charges for the time. I said that was fine and thanked him. He quickly clicked off of the line after I confirmed 11 am drop off time instead of 8am. The next morning I got a call from the mke U-Haul store. The man on the line told me I was past due as it was 9 am. I explained to him that I requested an extension the day before and had paid for extra time. He told me I was wrong and proceeded to be extremely rude. Every time I tried to explain that I had made an arrangement with U-Haul he cut me off and told me I was wrong. He also told me that the person who I had talked to before had put in the system that I could not have the extension and to call the U-Haul store I had the rental from. As I tried to tell him he had inaccurate information he rudely said there’s late fees and he hung up on me. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. The miscommunication between corporate and the mke U-Haul store was terrible. And it set me up for an extremely poor experience. I think the corporate manager I had talked to just let me accrue late fees instead of calling the store and letting someone know I would have the truck longer while telling me to return it at 11am and that would be fine. I understand it’s a busy season but I will find other accommodations for my moves in the future.

When I talked to a representative at the call center, I was informed that I could extend my trick rental length when I pickup the truck. When I arrived to pickup the truck the representative at the actual store location informed me that they limit rentals to a max of 24 hours in the month of May due to high demand. This put me in a jam. The store representative assisted me to figure out the best plan but as I informed him, this should have been stated when I called the call center. Instead I was given misinformation by the call center leading to last minute problems.

My experience with this reservation was unacceptable. To start, my reservation was re-scheduled by your system 3 times because you were 'out of trucks' and mis-booked my reservation. I was sent incorrect confirmation e-mails and after all these errors, I spent at least 2 hours of time on the phone with customer service throughout 4 separate times during my weekend trying to get this sorted out. After all was said and done and we returned the vehicle, we were notified that our original $19.99 rental was 'bumped up' to $71.99. This was not expected, not in the contract reservation, nor mentioned by any staff or website copy. When asking why this charge was incurred, the sales rep said "I don't know, it's the way the computer works." To me, that's unacceptable customer service. I am not happy with this experience nor will I be inclined to work with your team in the future. Hope this provides constructive feedback to help the team improve. Thanks.

I was scheduled to drop off my trailer to a location further away from where I unloaded because I was told the location three blocks away was full and couldn’t accept my trailer. I decided to try it anyway and was happy to find out that they would take it back at State Street. The gentleman checked me in within 3 minutes and I was on my way. Very helpful and probably saved me over 45 minutes from having to drive across town. Thank you!!!

I wouldn't change a thing. Picking up the truck was easy and fast. The truck ran great and the drop-off, even faster. The staff was extremely helpful and I would rent from this location again. Great experience!

Not location-specific at all, but please specify on your website that editing a current reservation does in fact delete the previous reservation. I moved my time from 4 PM to 3 PM and was told I lost my 24 hour time slot and had to have the truck back by 10 AM .

I would like to be contacted about this situation. We weren’t told until the night of that we weren’t going to get the truck for the full time requested. I called corporate the next morning and they said that we were able to have the truck for the full time. When I returned the truck we were charged a late fee even though it was back by the time we were told by corporate it was due. I cannot recommend Uhaul or the specific location in any way.

Replace the man working the check-in desk. He was very rude to the woman in front of us in the line. He was at best indifferent when attending to our reservation. Just a miserable person!

In-city rentals were not available for more than 24 hours due to being end of May / beginning of June. It's too bad you don't have more trucks in stock, but it's also a disservice to people who need the truck during a longer timeframe. Fees associated with late return need to be more clearly delineated. When I called to ask how much it would cost if I were a few minutes late, the call-center person couldn't give me a straight answer.

More clarification on a) what I’m paying for and b) the amount I owe. I was charged at pickup then again at drop off through the website for a different amount but for the same items (rental, miles, etc.). Furthermore, the location did not give detailed information on what I’m supposed to do at drop off or how to avoid services charges for rental equipment and the “cleanliness” of the van.

Quickest (In and out) and best customer experience I have ever had at ANY rental facility!! They were organized prompt, and easy to work with. Everyone I interracted with seemed liked they gave a damm, and were genuinely happy to be of service... Although not the closest location to my house, Tjis is my new go to for rental needs
