Use the cell phone app to do the drop off, worked perfectly. I called the next day to double check successful drop off, employee was very nice on the phone

Received a call from the pick up location the morning of the pick up asking me what time we would be by. Advised it will be soon. They called me back asking if we have ever rented from Uhaul before. I asked him why does it matter? He said they have to leave and go get some transfers and said we can just hook the trailer up ourselves. I told him that is absolutely NOT protocol when picking up a trailer! It is procedure to have the rep at the location hop up the trailer and take pics to verify it has been hooked up properly! I told him I use to work as a department manager for the contact center and I am NOT the one to try this on! Needless to say he said someone will be there to hook the trailer up. So irresponsible of the dealer to try to pull this crap!
