I booked a truck 1 month in advance through the U-Haul website for 10am on a Saturday. I even called 2 days before the reservation date to confirm that my truck will be ready that day at that time. To my unpleasant surprise, the truck wasn’t available the day of. It was rented to another customer who had until 11am to bring the truck back, even though my pick up time was at 10am. I had to wait an hour, and when i called U-haul to understand what went wrong, they had no excuses. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience, it’s ridiculous that even though i did my due diligence to make sure i have my truck on time (booked in advance and reconfirmed later), i still found myself having to wait and stress. After all that, i didn’t even get a compensation for my time lost nor a sincere excuse for the inconvenience. I lost trust in your services and will ill advice my peers from choosing your company in future moves.
